United StatesEvery employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The lady that does the breakfast-SUPER cheerful and friendly and you can tell she really enjoys what she does. Great location - everything was so close by! We loved the cute little coffee shop we found that was about a 5 minute drive or less.

United StatesFriendly staff , late checkout time, room was quiet, a.c / heater worked properly without rattle noise. Access to the out doors without having to go all the way out to check in. ( I smoke ) So it was faster to go outside. The coffee in the room was good tasting & plenty of clean soft towels

United StatesThe breakfasts were delicioius and nicely presented. I liked that we had a selection the day before from four different entrees. The Mimosas were good, but a bit weak on the champagne (personal taste). The staff were friendly and very responsive. It definitely felt comfortable, the decor was charming, and attention to details and generous extra touches were plentiful. We liked it so much that we stayed and extra day!.

There are several hotel options in Clarion PA just off Route 80, and it is a popular stopping point in Western PA. I have stayed in a few hotels here. Microtel Clarion is, I think, the best option for budget travelers. It is a fairly new property - maybe 6 or 7 years old. It is modern looking, in great shape, clean, quiet, comfortable, well designed, with free breakfast and 24 hour free coffee bar. The price is good. I have stayed there 3 times in the last 4 years - once alone, one with my wife, once with the two of us and our pet dog. This is our go to stop every time we travel this way. Great service, very good breakfast clean rooms, clean hotel and very friendly and helpful employees.
