We visited shipshewana.
We visited shipshewana. It was very conviently located to that area. We eat at rhe Howe cafe. It is very good. Do recommend it. Our location was 2 mile from sturgis mi. Gas in sturgis was a good price. Several places to eat in sturgis.

We visit every year for camping@ twin mills. Beautiful & peaceful. Love visiting the flea market & buying at Yoders in the next town. I dont like how its slowly changing with more "English" influences.

I wrote about this in great detail for the motel's site. Breakfast was the most disappointing. Only "hot" items were toast and make-your-own waffle. No: fruit (none fresh or canned), yogurt, bagels, muffins, breakfast rolls, donuts, eggs of any kind, sausage/bacon, etc. There were 2 kinds of cold cereal. There were 2 fruit juices -- the oj was a cheap bottled kind. I let the water run for 5-10 minutes and finally took a cool shower. My husband took one after me and said the water finally got hot for him. I removed the "Do Not Disturb" sign off the door knob when we left Sunday morning. When we returned later in the afternoon -- our room had not been serviced. When we first arrived, the room was clean and recently painted with recent carpet. The towels were large, clean -- very white-- fluffy.

Howe is quite small, but it's just a few miles north to Stugis, MI. There is a small mall area with a Goodwill store, grocery store, hardware store and more. I enjoy the food at the Chinese Buffet near the mall. Downtown Sturgis has interesting shops to check out.JudyUnited States of America

The clerk I talked to the day before we arrived was very accommodating to our needs, possible early checkin, giving me a first floor room since I was travelling with two handicapped family members, giving me a room close to a door so I wouldn't have trouble bring in our belongings.
