Sheboygan is a beautiful city with a lot to do and see, a lot of quaint little shops, unique gift items, and a spectacular view of lake Michigan. If you like art...the JMK Arts Center is a must see, also the Bookworm Gardens are a great place to take children for an unforgettable whimsical experience and please don't miss out on visiting the largest flag it is absolutely amazing!! 😀The eateries are fantastic, (I suggest Pop's Burgers and Pizza as a favorite for a relaxing meal with the family )and offer many different options, stop at Blast's Frozen Treats near the Pier, you will not be disappointed. You will love Sheboygan!! My only complaint is that it rained and was a little cold on our final day of vacation, but you can't control the weather right?🙃😊 I give it an overall score of 98% (Bonus: You can walk anywhere in Downtown Center night or day and feel safe, it was a real blessing.) We will be going back when it is a little warmer.

Everything was great but disappointed it didn’t snow but that’s nature. Hopefully next time I’m up there it does snow! Visit the Victorian chocolate shoppe downtown especially the children’s museum. The lighthouse is also beautiful.

Rupp's Restaurant was fantastic, great to see that there is some old steak places still open. Pacifico Mexican restaurant was also good. We got to Port Washington and Sheboygan and found just about all of the places were closed on Monday and Tuesday's. So we had to do both places on Wednesday as we left on Thursday. Wish we knew that would have gone someplace else.

There was nothing to do, no children activities everything had just about closed down even the arcades.
Eateries were few a lot closed down and short handed.
Sheboygan have too many roundabouts and you have to u turn at many lights due to entrances to businesses are unavailable it's very dangerous.
Avoid staying in Sheboygan.

We only overnighted here, but arrived just in time for Bratwurst days! Sheboygan is the Bratwurst capital of the US. Downtown is surprisingly attractive, right on Lake Michigan, with beautiful parks.
Had a wonderful stay here last weekend! We were in town to do some salmon fishing and the location was PERFECT. Super close to the Marina and local restaurants. This small family-owned hotel out beat any of the large corporate hotels in the area. Highlight of the hotel were the beds, SO comfortable and clean white linens. Overall super impressed with this hotel and staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a trailer and boat, plenty of space in their parking lot if you are traveling to town to fish!
Given the price, I was pleasantly surprised by the Fountain Park Motel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and hard-working. The location was a bonus--right across from the park (where I got to hit the Wednesday farmers' market) and a quick drive or 15-minute walk to the restaurant strip in downtown Sheboygan. My only issue was the internet was a little unreliable, which wasn't ideal as I was traveling for work, but apart from that I would happily stay here again.
Holiday Inn could not find my reservation, but she had a room that was a lot pricier. Even though I had a printed copy of my reservation from booking.com, she refused to even look at it, and she insisted that I get a much pricier room.
So, I refused. I got a very nice room down the street at their competitor's nice hotel!
The customer service of the gal at the Holiday Inn was terrible! I had arrived at this establishment late in the afternoon.
The hotel was right off the interstate I-43. The room was very actually quite large. on our first night there were lots of teenagers and it was a bit noisy....but that was okay they just didn't go to sleep at our time were accustom to. But we know what its like with teenagers ....we had them once.
We really enjoyed how easy and quick check in was along with immediately how clean and cozy the hotel felt just walking in the front doors. The rooms are very clean and have a very modern feel to them. The breakfast options were very good and it was also very close to everything we needed.
Well maintained, boutique hotel, located along the Sheboygan River walk. Walkable to restaurants and short drive to beaches. Professional and pleasant staff, well maintained rooms, and nice mini-breakfast.
Grand older, family owned, and excellently ran smaller hotel. We were pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend. There’s a draw bridge next to the hotel and we watched a couple of boats go through.
The friendly front desk staff were, by far, the best part about our stay here. Access to the hotel from
The highway was easy. They are renovating the property and the fresh paint adds a nice touch.
It’s a great little hotel! The staff was great, I locked our room key in the room and she made me an extra one in no time! Short walk or drive from Lake Michigan. It was an amazing place to stay!
Quite location on the lake. The hotel was quiet, only a few guests max here. The area is wide open and quiet. The location is off the beaten path which was very nice.
I found 300 dollars for one nights stay in Sheboygan a little high but I do understand a special event like Nascar close to town probably drove that price up.
