Detroit is becoming a revitalized city with many great restaurants, sporting venues and entertainment venues. Very walkable and increased transit system would make this the perfect city to visit. It's so good to see the re-birth of the buildings and the businesses making this a city vibrant and attracting more visitors each year.

Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be.
Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown area
The host, Frontdesk, sent clear, easy-to-follow instructions in different formats. They also conviently re-sent, just before check-out time, the code to open the box for leaving the keys.
It is very nice to have a full apartment rather than just a hotel room. My wife and I especially like having a table and chairs to work on together rather than a small desk with only a single chair as provided by typical hotel rooms.
And the location was great; it was central to much of what we wanted to see in Detroit.
This was possibly my favorite hotel experience! Our room was so attractive and the bathroom view!!! Super comfortable bed which is hard to find in a hotel. Pool was very nice and clean! Walking through this hotel it was stunning to see the beautiful accents on the ceiling and in the lobby. In the morning we were having a delicious breakfast on the 25th floor overlooking the Canada border, which was just so cool! I love knowing I’ve found a place to stay for my next visit to Detroit!
Let's be honest, this place is not for everybody. It's a quiet neighborhood that is just starting to come out of despair. The property is older and you rent a bedroom that is quite small. But if you're a little more adventurous and you dig art, it's cool. If you're an artist who has hit the road on a tight budget, you're going to love it. If you're more of a luxury hotel traveler, you're not going to dig it.
I thought it was great. It was an experience until itself.
Loft living in downtown Detroit. This isn't so much like a hotel as a condo operation with security. But if this is where you want to be, you probably know how to make your way through the city streets. Also of note: if you don't like the sounds of the city (including the loud ones on weekend nights), bring ear protection. Downtown at night can be loud until 2:30am or so.
I love this location as it's just outside of downtown Detroit but close enough to anything you could want to do. Lots of restaurants/bars/things to do near the hotel and a cute small park across the street. The staff was extremely welcoming and professional, so much so that I can not wait to come back down and stay at this location again.
new hotel in old redone landmark building. Beautifully detailed, fantastic room/studio. Very friendly staff. truly an excellent hotel.
Nice restaurant on premise. (le supreme), great service and food.
New rooftop bar
super location, walking distance from all downtown Detroit places and stadium
The location is great, close to many restaurants and the lake front. The hotel shuttle that takes you around the downtown area is wonderful too. Our room was huge, lots of space. A large bathroom as well. The bar area was nice in the evening and in the morning for breakfast.
Best location for all attractions in Downtown. They also have an Applebee's/Ihop in the premise which makes it really convenient for breakfast/brunch/dinner. Proximity to Riverwalk, Hartz Plaza, and downtown in general makes it a must stay hotel in Detroit.
Love that the detroit people mover is connected to the gm Ren Cen. pretty much a 5 minute ride to anywhere downtown right from the hotel. room was very clean and room service was very quick to accommodate. man at the front desk was very helpful.
We really enjoyed the special decor and furnishing of the hotel, really different from many other "standard" hotels. Overall I found the room cleaner than average. The position is just perfect to visit Detroit. The staff was kind and friendly.
I arrived at the desk and asked for city view, because it was our first time in Detroit, the women was very kind and we had a nice room with city view . It was beautiful. Near the arena, we went by foot to the Pistons game . Loved it!
The design of the hotel is unbelievably posh yet welcoming. As a designer for similar hospitality rivals, I was extremely impressed with the atmosphere and experience. Definitely will stay again the next time I am in Detroit.
the price and location. for budget travelers who want a location not far from downtown Detroit. rooms seemed recently remodeled and everything was very clean. I came here for movement festival. it was great spot for the price.
Beds are very comfortable. The view of the city that we had was amazing. Very quite rooms, never heard any of the other guest. The lobby is one of the best in Detroit.
A lovely residential-type hotel (an old restored mansion) in a good downtown location, near the art centre.
Good (paid) parking. Terrific buffet breakfast.
