This place caters to families and I would not stay here unless I was with mine. The little Lego houses are really cute and there is a playground outside where you can sit on your porch and watch the kids. The pool has a “beach entrance” so great for little ones with floating legos in it. They even have life vests. They also have a “potty” attachment on the toilets in the room. The food is fine - but they have a full bar. There is also a Publix right outside the hotel grounds which is a quick drive. You get parking at Legoland with your stay and it’s right across the street - very easy!! There is a shuttle as well.

My favorite was that you had an outdoor pool that was the main reason I booked there, also loved that you had free breakfast, kept us from being rushed because it lasted till 930, I would recommend 10 though as a lot of people can’t eat too early 6:40 to 10:30 would be better. I’d had preferred waffles as a choice but the pancakes were good, I loved the fruit and cereal, coffee. It was nice a secure, keeping people from entering building without card key, all staff very friendly.

Everything was great ...the only negative thing was not being informed about the 100 Deposit taken off the credit card for each room ...I would have liked to be informed that the deposit was being charged when we reserved the room...to be better prepared for this charge...

Just a note for people going to Legoland.
Just a note for people going to Legoland. They charge the same for kids that are 2 + as an adult. Most theme parks let kids 3 and under in at no charge. We paid 100.00 for the 2 yr old and very limited rides for them as everything has height restrictions

Mangers need to know how to talk to customers when you feel like your not safe in your room all three rooms was having the same problem with the roofing with the tiles going up and down in each room they said it was the wind but the doors was closed the whole time .we just felt unsafe when we was seeing the same thing happening in each room checked out early
NIce, clean hotel. Friendly staff, guy at the front desk is super nice. I think he is the manager as he is always there. I don't know why this hotel is rated poor, it is clean and renovated. I'd say it dates to the 1950s construction but it looks kinda cool.
I have stayed numerous times, no bugs like many other hotels in Winter Haven. Also, right next to Lake Alfred, great for an evening walk by the lake.
Nice clean, relatively new and modern hotel. Room was spacious enough. Area was quiet. We had connecting door room first and that let sound from neighbor in disturbingly well, but we were changed to non-door room and that removed that issue.
Location is very good. There are some restaurants in walking distance. Uber to LEGOLAND is 6-7 dollars so less than parking in the park and hotel parking is free.
I've been standing there a long time off and on it's okay the staff is great but the money issues where they keep a deposit and they add on fees when it is not on the booking app you know so it cost you way more than you should have to pay Winter Haven is expensive you know and and they exploit that and all the hotels are there too
Great hotel for small and big children. We loved our stay, beds were great, especially the pillows:) complimentary breakfast was great, except the coffee. The staff was lovely, elevator unexpectedly a hit, fun children’s areas, the slide was fun but the wall around the lake and put put golf was a cool surprise.
I liked that the room was enough room for my family the beds were very comfortable and the view of the pool absolutely loved the pool and the hotel room was very close to all the stores and places we needed to go to.
Didn't have time to try your breakfast, but I'm sure it was nice. The facilities are in good condition, it's was easy to get to the hotel and to check in.
