Detroit is becoming a revitalized city with many great restaurants, sporting venues and entertainment venues. Very walkable and increased transit system would make this the perfect city to visit. It's so good to see the re-birth of the buildings and the businesses making this a city vibrant and attracting more visitors each year.

Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.

Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown area

I loved the aesthetic of this hotel, I totally got the vibe they were going for. It felt very trendy. The staff we came across were friendly and I am always a big fan of a hotel coffee shop. All of the local touches were great! We didn't get any of the wine or snacks but it looked like they had a good offering. The neighborhood seemed really chic , I wanted to visit a few of the places. The restaurant was closed but I would be interested in coming back to check on what they have going on! Parking seemed safe and was only $10 a night.

This is an Okay hotel, good enough for a night - go at the game or at the concert and call it a night! Front desk ladies super accommodating and welcoming. Sheets were clean, and yes the rooms smell like cigarettes but please… this is Detroit! Keep your expectations in the same level of the money you pay. I would definitely go back again. Detroit was a layover between two legs of a longer trip, so we didn't have much time to explore. That made the location of this hotel very important, as we got to pack in a lot of sightseeing before hitting the road again. The view from our room and from the restaurant where breakfast was served were excellent. The staff was super helpful and accommodating!

Very cool, retro motif. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Parking was free with convenient in/out (gated at night). The location was in the Corktown neighborhood, which had a cool vibe with lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. Easy enough to walk to downtown Detroit. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly.

I was in town for my brother's funeral. Most of the family stayed at a hotel in downtown Detroit and paid more for one night than I paid for 2 nights, including tax. It was clean, safe and an excellent location. I would definitely consider again if I am in Detroit.
