HOT! And you MUST have a car. Even if you don't like -drive. Distances are huge, and again, no one walk, it's hot.
Good is there's no traffic at all, and plenty of free parking everywhere.
Lyft app for taxi works well here and not expensive.

I was born and raised in Phoenix.
I was born and raised in Phoenix. I would not live there now and only visit if we have to such as going to the airport or other business. I prefer smaller towns with clean air and a healthy environment to walk and hike in nature. Phoenix is HOT this time of year...obviously. Sadly, the air quality is Poor now-a-days with OZONE (which is Invisible but still Unhealthy), and has Smog like other big cities. I LOVE Arizona! It is a diverse state with cool people and very diverse environments from the Sonoran Desert-the only place where the Saguaro live (AZ and Mexico), and we have Snow and the Grand Canyon! Visit the state for sure! Go to the rural gems in Arizona.

I was in Phoenix for GCU’s graduate school commencement and I was blown away by how beautiful the city is. I found myself staring out the window during landing because I saw the most serene clear blue skies and orange hills/mountains.
The city had this tint over it, not in a sense of pollution but, a tint that reminds you of a peaceful dream.
Each person I came across, from the airport customer service representative to my Uber driver. Everyone was so nice and jovial.
Phoenix is as beautiful as it is hot. If you’re visiting in the summertime, please pack your sunscreen, handheld fan, comfortable clothes and water.
But, I definitely plan to come back to visit and stay for a longer time.

We never left the resort...and why would we!
We never left the resort...and why would we! Everything we possibly could have wanted was right there. We had brought along cards and various board games, snacks and water to have in our room, Of course, the company (my children) was outstanding! This is a fantastic resort that has courteous and attentive employees. The grounds are immaculate, and the villas are extraordinary. My family had an absolutely amazing time. Staying in a spotless, impeccably decorated, large villa, with enough space to play games, cook, or watch a movie (all while another person took a nap) made for the perfect little vacation. We loved the water slides and lazy river. My highest recommendation goes to the Arizona Grand Resort and Water Park!

We were entertaining grandkids so looked for activities that they would enjoy. The Arizona Boardwalk was an excellent choice. There were a lot of activities if a little expensive. The Organ Stop in Mesa was a major hit with our kids. A bicycle ride along a desert trail yielded some spotted wildlife. The kids enjoyed seeing a roadrunner and a rattle snake especially. Traffic is horrible but I was expecting worse. The water park was also a big hit. It is connected to the Hilton resort.
Room was comfortable size. Bathroom was nice and stocked with good quality soaps. Bed was comfortable.
Location was very good if you wanted to access the airport by walking. It is about a 5 minute walk (pulling bags) to the 44th Street station access to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Sky Train that provides free access to the airport terminals.
We dropped off our car the night before at the airport car rental, then took the Sky train back to the hotel. We had a 6 AM flight and walked back to the free Sky Train in the morning. It all worked out well.
Plenty of parking and easy to find on arriving into Phoenix downtown.
About 20 mins walk to the main socialising areas Roosevelt Row etc) which would be too much in high heat. Within walking distance of the tram (to get to the Heard etc), but it’s a few blocks.
Good breakfast options given it’s included. Included waffles and bagels.
Rooms spacey, clean and comfy.
Staff were really lovely and welcoming.
They have a shuttle bus but we didn’t use it.
When we arrived for check in, our room was still being cleaned. The lady at the desk was very friendly. She was all smiles. I could tell she was in a great mood.
She told me instead of having us wait for our room to be cleaned, she was going to upgrade us. She put us in a bigger room with a nice view.
The hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable.
The next time I'm back in the Phoenix area, I already know where I'll be staying.
1) Hotel easy to reach from all over Phoenix.
2) Staff very friendly and helpful.
3) Room very clean. Enjoyed my balcony on the third floor. No junction door to neighbor room in my room, that is what I like and expect. OK, carpet was a bit older, but clean.
4) Housekeeping also excellent - every day new coffee pads have been provided.
5) First Watch Restaurant was only 100 yards away - very good.
Stayed here because it was within walking distance to a concert my son and I attended. Staff was exceedingly helpful, valet parking was a breeze, and only slighty more expensive than the lot down the street. Forgot something in my room, and was ushered back up by the front desk gentleman. Best hotel experience I've had in a while, mostly due to the amazing staff.
I had ended up loosing my granddaughter Amora at Pch on Sept 1st 2021 and I had forgotten about my Stuff there at this hotel til I received a text and I told her my situation and she was an Angel and locked my room til I got my stuff I just wanted to say she is the Best never got to meet her in person but you have an amazing employee I wished I could hug her
My GPS took me to the wrong hotel in a not so safe neighborhood. I reached out to the hotel, and the night manager was so helpful. He gave me directions and I finally arrived. All the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
We were traveling with our service dogs and were charged $75 for them, they couldn't stay in any areas with us like the hotel lobby or bar, however it was the best breakfast ever, the bathroom and shower really nice too, Reception staff left a little to be desired, but the bar and breakfast staff were excellent.
Great location with access to the Valley Metro. The hotel gave me passes to the metro to attend the Arizona Diamondbacks game at Chase Field.
The rooms are so cute - we loved the art and decor….and the sink that was both in and out of the shower (you have to see this to understand it)
Large room with kitchen facilities, very comfortable and quiet despite this being a large hotel. Very clean, it gives the impression of being new, pool clean easy to access. Downstairs the bar had live music of a very good standard, and all the staff I met were friendly and helpful.
I loved the bed, super comfy, the shower, and the decor of the room. The room itself though, was small. The location of the hotel was perfect, almost centrally located between Glendale and Scottsdale. The pool area was great just need to drink choices that are more basic.
This neighborhood isn’t the very best so some of the hotels nearby turn out to be very disappointing but this was very clean, comfortable, conveniently located for our stay! We will probably make this a permanent spot for when we visit phoenix and the price is affordable
The Embassy Suites, Phoenix Biltmore is a beautiful hotel. We were checked in by friendly staff and very efficiently. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. The pull out couch wasn't great, but not bad either.
The beautiful foliage and the historical background of the hotel are just some of the amazing features at the Arizona Biltmore. The staff is amazing top-notch service. The pools are clean, clear and crisp.
The rooms were well kept, very comfortable beds, all electrics worked, well lit room, shower was clean and effective. I would certainly look at this Hotel again when in the Phoenix area.
The rooms (3) were very clean and comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. The staff was fantastic. The atmosphere was very comfortable. This is a great hotel.
The staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Location off the I-10 made it convenient. Probably one of the most affordable hotels in that area of Phoenix and Glendale.
Excellent location for downtown Phoenix. Eclectic vibe - 50s retro decor. Great bar with fire pits outside and good restaurant. Upgraded my room for free.
