Horrible! Extremely nasty and falling apart. Very unsafe! Doors did not lock from the outside. The hotel's management's idea to fix that issue was to chain outside doors shut. The Bush family homestead was interesting.
The Bush family homestead was interesting. The nature preserve was nice but the loud highway traffic sort of ruined the experience. The sand dunes were great. Midland is not the town that you would purposely visit.
Midland is not the town that you would purposely visit. It is more ''pass by'' town to spend the night and continue with the trip. I stayed at the Grand Texan Hotel and Convention Center for one night before I went back to work. It was a terrible experience. PLEASE don't waste your money. The bed and pillow were dirty. The towels were dirty. The soap was even dirty. The coffee was expired four years ago. They advertised a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. That was non existent. They also advertised a pool. It was out of order. After I reached out to the hotel to let them know about my experience, they refused to make it right.
