All I see are derelicts all around this place. 24/7 aroma of marajuana. Definitely a low life clientele. Hopefully I make it through the one night and out at the crack of dawn.

The Birthplace of Country Music Museum was a very nice museum with clear displays on the "Bristol Sessions" were the very early recordings of country and bluegrass music were completed. The interactive displays were very good being able to listen to much of the music from those original recordings. They also have many of artifacts including some of the actual instruments on display.
A special highlight was the Saturday afternoon jam session where we heard about 15 musicians playing bluegrass music. It was a great and unexpected concert.

The bed was fine. The restaurant was not.
The bed was fine. The restaurant was not. Breakfast buffet at $11.95 should have been free for the little it offered. We ordered from the hot menu instead, but the woman cook pulled the eggs and sausage from the buffet! Not cooked fresh to order. When we complained to the waitress, the cook yelled at us for complaining! The waitress had to apologize that we heard that. There are plenty of hotels around here, I’ll try another next time.

We always stop overnight in Bristol when traveling up I-81. We always stay in Motel 6 because of their pet policy. There are numerous eating establishments on the immediate area along with a Wal-Mart in case we need anything. All very convenient.

We were there for a wedding on a farm that our sister moved to 2 years ago and we spent most of our time during the day there. We did run errands for items they needed last minute. GPS helped us find what they needed.

Bristol is not only a "good Place To Live," but a nice place to visit. The 21st Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion was great event that drew a large and mellow crowd, and had an excellent musical lineup.

Bristol has come a long way towards becoming a tourism destination. It hosts a major music festival along its main street each fall {Bristol Rhythm and Roots Revival}, and has a surprising number of bars and eateries. The Bristol Hotel has a very nice roof bar that is accessible to all comers.
Great location. Convenient to both Bristol VA and Bristol TN. This is a no frills place to stay. The staff is exceptional and the bed is comfortable. There is no breakfast - please don’t complain that there wasn’t one provided as the description clearly indicates that there is no breakfast offered. These are nice people offering a convenient place to stay
This motel is fairly new, and is close to Exit 7 on I-81. Downtown Bristol is reached easily by car taking taking I-18 west one exit, or by taking Route 11 into downtown. My room was large, although pretty barren. I asked for, and received, a top-floor room that was quiet.
we have stayed here before and i came back because it is one of my favorite places to be; one of the few hotels where i actually can sleep. the beds are amazing and the rooms are really comfortable and the place smells amazing! the restaurant is one of the best in bristol.
Despite web site stating includes breakfast and showing dining room picture and confirmation saying price includes breakfast breakfast was not even available except Sat/Sun. Breakfast was the determining factor in choosing this hotel and it wasn't even offered.
It was a great stay over there. Easy access from i81. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. There was a TV and coffee maker in the room. Internet was very fast.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Very convenient to 81 freeway. Clean. Easy parking. Quiet. Alpesh at the front desk was fantastic! A+ customer service. A real asset to the hotel. I would come back again because of him.
The things we liked most was the location, rate, no carpet in the room. I like the fact the several hotels are getting rid of carpet in the rooms and making them tile.
