Breakfast was great - a huge selection of pretty much anything I wanted. Pastries, toast. bagels, muffins, hard, boiled eggs, cereal, many different kinds of juices and fresh fruit. I didn't need a hot breakfast from the griddle so the fare was perfect for my schedule - which by the way was pretty much anytime I wanted to have breakfast.

The staff were very accommodating when my husband and I decided to get married with a small group of loved ones. The staff provided us access to a larger space so we could continue hanging out without fear of disrupting other guests past quiet hours! Overall a great place to stay when we celebrated getting married! All the rooms we stayed in were very clean and cozy!

The town is spread out a lot more than I thought. I was pretty dependent upon my gps to get me around. This was not an issue since the purpose of my trip was to spend all three days at the kennels where the seminar took place.

City is really run down, poorly set up, smells horrible from the paper mill, water is so polluted it's recomended that you don't eat the fish you catch, not much for entertainment, can't buy beer after 9pm, high crime rate.

My home town. I left 57 years ago.
My home town. I left 57 years ago. I come back because of very dear old friends but would never move back. I really don't see it as a destination city either. People who live here seem happy enough but we have traveled the world and have a more expansive view of things like cuisine. Our large group ate at the Anchor Inn. Nothing on the menu they gave us for vegetarians let alone vegans. Wouldn't get away with that in Washington State. Sorry folks. There is just so much world out there to smell and taste and dance to the rhythm of.

This town has gone down hill fast!
This town has gone down hill fast! It looks like a ghost town. It isn’t maintained at all, the streets and curbing are dated, the local business’ are suffering and curb appeal is seriously lacking! The homes look awful, overgrown, falling apart, not taken care of-almost poverty struck. It is such a shame. It is also too bad the storms hit this already suffering area.
On a positive note, Grandmas restaurant for breakfast is a family favorite. It is a little hidden gem!

I glanced at the in-hotel free breakfast and it look pretty sad. The sausage was barely browned and selection was very limited. I usually don't take advantage of the in-hotel breakfast because they are usually far below my expectations and that is why I go out to breakfast. Too bad you are forced to pay for the in-hotel breakfast as part of the base rate. You should be given a choice.
Nothing. If I could have gotten another reservation ant another hotel I would have done so that day we checked in. Upon checking in they had my reservation under William Pearson and not Willard Pearson.
Hotel was in a good location, walking distance of Walgreens & Dollar Tree.
It is also close to several restaurants.
Comfortable bed and the great water pressure in the shower.
No carpeting in the guest room made the room feel cleaner. The hotel was centrally located and was near restaurants, stores and near the baseball fields we were visiting.
