Being at the top of the hill.. you didn’t have to drag your luggage into the little village and the parking was right beside in the lot. The English breakfast ( included) was delicious with plenty of cereal/ fruit options. Bathroom was nicely renovated. I loved the glitter curtains, headboard and wallpaper!

This was a lovely place to stop for a night while walking along the coast. The whole place had a lovely warm, welcoming feel about it, which was, in large part, due to the staff. My room was spotless and very comfortable, and was a lovely spot of luxury.

The snug is beautiful and extremely peaceful. Once we settled in we went straight to the hot tub which was amazing and relaxing. The property has everything you could want and our host, Sophie, was amazing and very friendly when I needed help. I'd absolutely recommend this property for a romantic trip away. Robin Hoods Bay is a short 1 mile walk away and for those looking for a longer hike there's the Cleveland Way, or if you have a bike the Cinder Track. I hope to return in the future ❤️

The Snug is a lovely little hideaway. We found the owner very friendly and the place itself was well equipped and very clean. The hot tub was a welcome luxury at the end of a hard days walking. The Snug is on a main bus route allowing easy access to Whitby and Scarborough. The bus stop is about 10 metres away. Buses run every half hour. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we will be going back soon.
