Great hosts ( Steve & John ), excellent service !
Dinner was delicious , but a little a little on the heavy side in terms of sauces and presentation .
Melanie was a wonderful hostess and server and was eager to please and pleasant to chat with .
Very friendly staff and would certainly return and highly recommend this lovely establishment
PS I have a gluten free diet and the chef had several choices on the dinner menu that provided some great dinner options, and our hosts made sure we had Gluten free breakfast options which was a nice and thoughtful touch !
Thanks to all the staff
Calm, family friendly village.
No too many restaurants, two bars available at night, at least this is what we found. We had very nice sunny cool weather in May. Consider sunscreen for sunny days. Watch out from mosquitos at sunset and early evening.
Things to do:
- Visit the 1000 islands tower
- Boat trip to see the islands
- Kids to smin at the "beach", tiny sand beach

Gananoque is always so lovely!
Gananoque is always so lovely! It was a little sleepy with not much going on in April (compared to summer). Love Joel Stone park. Fun to check out the flea market, and boutiques. There is a great forested area near the marina we walked in, but no official trails. I wish City cruises took the opportunity to run cruises the weekend we were there (only ran a cruise in eclipse Monday, and following weekend even though a lot of visitors in town this weekend for eclipse). Great indian restaurant (1000 curries) on King street, and enjoyed great sunset views from Muskie Jack Pub.

Wonderful little town.
Wonderful little town. People are friendly and the place is clean. They take great care of their corner of the world. Beautiful facilities and parks. Small downtown had plenty of shops & restaurants, Sidewalks were clear and well kept. We had a great time and will return in the summer when the season is really humming.

The breakfast was inadequate.
The breakfast was inadequate. There were NO cereals and NO fruit. Breakfast came ALL ON ONE PLATE-including the toast! Coffee came IN A MUG!. Tea was hot water in a pot with a teabag sitting on top! I had brought porridge (oatmeal) with me but I wasn't allowed to get it cooked for me, or put it myself into a microwave.

Lovely little town to explore for couple of days.
Lovely little town to explore for couple of days. Scenic location and great walks. Boat trips couple of minutes walk away. Interesting free museum to visit. We were there in mid Sept and place was very much winding down . Limited choice of boat trips , boat museum closed and many cafes/shops closed.

First and foremost, the natural beauty of Gananoque is...
First and foremost, the natural beauty of Gananoque is simply breathtaking. Nestled amidst the stunning Thousand Islands region, the charm of Gananoque extends beyond its natural wonders. The town itself is a delightful blend of historic architecture, quaint shops, and friendly locals. One of the standout experiences in Gananoque is, of course, the boat tour through the Thousand Islands. Cruising through these emerald waters while learning about the history and folklore of the area is an unforgettable adventure. In conclusion, my visit left me with cherished memories.
Homely guesthouse run by a lovely friendly family who went out of their way to make ours a comfortable stay. Our room with 2 king beds was huge, the biggest room I've ever stayed in! Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is served in a huge dining room and consists of a good continental selection + cooked to order eggs/bacon/sausages/pancakes. Location wise it is 10 minutes drive out of Gananoque and close to the water, absolutely beautiful setting though all the access points nearby are private properties.
Best location in Gananoque! We walked everywhere and spent time in the lovely Joel Stone park. Swimming pool was great, so nice to pop intonsauna for post swim warmup. Breakfast was so convenient and had nice variety (hard boiled eggs, sausage and egg rounds, yogurt, cereal, apples, oranges, toasts, coffee, juice). My kids loved the pancake maker! Room was small but comfortable, beds super comfy. Coffee maker, microwave, fridge.
Location is PRIMO. I grew up in the 1000 Islands and love the river. No meals were included, but there is a fully furnished kitchen, linens, hand soap, dish soap, and even salt and pepper. It was quiet and cozy. Lance was attentive when I had a question, and resolved it in a timely manner.
The breakfast was amazing, couldn't have asked for a nicer breakfast, it was really delicious. The location is perfect.
It is a beautiful old house with beautiful antiques in it. The rooms are something you would find in a five star hotel .
Well worth staying in it.
pool was nice, shallow end is 3 feet so was perfect for my little guy. staff were friendly, our room was clean. showers were hot and strong. located a short drive from all the 1000 islands sites and close enough to all of the restaurants Gananoque has to offer.
The property itself is nice, surrounded by beautiful lakeside walks and it is a quick drive to the charming centre of Gananoque. The rooms are clean and well cared for. Staff are polite and to the point. The showers and bath supplies are excellent.
I like the location, check in host (forgot his name) was friendly and helpful. Area and surroundings was quiet and respectful guests.
Appearance of the hotel was appealing and well maintained.
Hospitality ladies were pleasant.
beautiful boutique hotel in walking distance to all amenities of Gananoque. owners have given every attention to detail and service was excellent. beautiful rooms and lovely outdoor eating area.
The location is good, even though couple hundred meters away from "downtown".
Room is spacious and illuminating as it uses pot lights.
The sound-proof is good compared to most of the inns.
This is a beautiful inn, set in lovely grounds, minutes from downtown Gananoque. The innkeepers and staff were gracious and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the back patio.
Terrible Bfast. Seemed like you had inexperienced cook on staff.
I must admit that it had to be the worst Bfast we have ever experience at a hotel.
