Coos Bay is a charming community on the Oregon Coast. Given my agenda, I wasn't there on vacation or to enjoy the sights, but anyone looking for a nice vacation spot might want to consider a day or two in Coos Bay.

Coos Bay is one of our top 3 places to stay along the Oregon coast! There is so much to do and see there even if you can't get out and walk much there are some stunning drives and so many different places to visit! Lmao believe it or not we've been here a hundred times and still have yet to visit the casino that's how much there is to do and explore here!

Coos Bay's access to the ocean and beaches is excellent.

Coos Bay's access to the ocean and beaches is excellent. There are great places to eat and there is a new boardwalk shopping mall that will be awesome when completely filled with businesses. The old town along 101 N & S has many interesting shops to browse and buy great things.

Coos Bay is a nice town.

Coos Bay is a nice town. Wish we could have found better places to eat. The town itself, or what we saw of it seemed dirty but it is a coastal town. The Mill Casino was the best place we visited although we did not win. One restaurant we ate at made us both sick. I guess we should have looked around more and maybe next time, if there is a next time, we will look around more. Sunset beach was awesome!!

The beaches around the area are gorgeous, there's plenty to see. Also nice sand dunes to ride around on. There's a great restaurant in Charleston, which is just a short drive from Coos Bay/ North Bend (and near a couple of the beaches), called Miller's at the Cove. Overall a great area to visit!

    The views were fantastic.

The views were fantastic. The casinos were filled with smokers, bad smoke smell. Gas prices were a bit higher than was expected. The wildlife game park in Bandon is an awesome site for the whole family and is fairly close by. Sunset Bay is one of my favorites. We ate at the Kozy kitchen great food but short staff as with most places.

Wonderful hotel room. This place had all the touches to make you feel at home in this cozy room. Full mini kitchen stocked up with all the cutlery and cooking tools you need. The room was very clean and quiet. They have crabbing and clamming equipment on site to borrow for the day if you so desire free of charge. Just across the street you can take a forest trail for 5 minutes and end up on a picturesque beach. Coos Bay is also a short jaunt away. Great place would certainly stay here again. I rented the double queen room with a kitchenette.

Efficient and served the purpose well. Accommodated a ground floor request per my just performed knee surgery. One ‘employee?’; though clear she had some special challenges… was in my hotel room doorway talking incessantly for far too long before 6 a.m…. And she returned a bit later for another round. My sister was stepping outside to walk and smoke…. She is a smoker… and was followed back each time by said ‘employee’…. Just an fyi more than a complaint.

honestly not too much. Your staff was not very helpful regarding where was best to eat, only gave us a menu of sorts to pick places to go to based on what food we might have wanted or what was open. I work at a hotel as well and when my guests ask me where to go, I know right were to send them but I also give them choices and tell them right how to get there. Knowledge of the little things goes a long way with people.

How clean and nicely the property was. The renovation to this property must be recent, everything looks brand new. The property was easy to access and the code for the door lock was sent in a timely matter prior to my arrival. The location was convenient to places I went in Coos Bay.

There is a nice view of the river, which is not exclusive to this hotel. The location was good, although it feels like it is in the Safeway parking lot.
