Papenburg was nice but we felt one day was enough.
Papenburg was nice but we felt one day was enough. There is a nice pedestrianised area along a canal with shops, bars and restaurants. There is a park and also a large lake close by. We felt that if you are looking for a quiet couple of days away it would be ok. We had a fantastic dinner in the pedestrianised area at Restaurant MediTerra, and had fish of the day, whole grilled seabass, it was reasonably priced and the staff were lovely.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom

The location was great - within walking distance of the train station, supermarkets, and some good restaurants. Breakfast had a nice variety, and everything was fresh. Our room had a great view of the Rathaus and the centre was just a minute walk away. Very spacious restaurant and good decor. The rooms had a theme going which was very nice. We were in Mexico. The room in general was fine and equipped with all we needed and very spacious. Breakfast and dinner was good but nothing special.
