Fascinating place, with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. The town houses the Zuiderzee Museum, which is well worth a visit. The town centre is very picturesque with old renovated houses. Free parking outside hotel was good, always got a space. Simple buffet breakfasts were great, good variety and breakfast room was very comfortable and well decorated. We stayed in a family room with a double bed and two singles and it was a good size with a nice bathroom (great shower). Owners were really friendly and very helpful.
