Beautiful, quiet location on Lake Arenal. Loved the gorgeous views of the jungle and the sights and sounds of all the birds and animals around the hotel. Hosts Simon and Jo were incredibly charming, warm and generous, and gave some great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. And their wonderful dogs really made the stay feel like home. I was very sorry to leave!

I booked last minute because I missed the bus to La Fortuna. I woke up with stunning views of the hotel and beautiful surroundings. The room is very clean with AC and fridge, coffee machine and table, it has hot water!!! Love everything, regret that I was unable to stay longer. Will come back and highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet place to enjoy the nature

The property was beautiful and as a bonus we got to sloths and porcupines sleeping in the trees, toucans and other birds flying around and perching, and cute little lizards-it was like being on a nature preserve! My son appreciated having enough space to practice throwing his baseball around.
The room was lovely, especially all the fine woodworking. The kitchen was well appointed for making a simple dinner and it was nice to enjoy our breakfast out on the patio. The pool is amazing, long and deep enough to do some real swimming, and there is also a shallow kiddie pool.
The hosts were friendly and helpful and made an incredible breakfast.

This place was so beautiful. The property is amazing, so you will have the most amazing views while you have your breakfast. Our room was very cute and clean. We did not realize that there would be a little kitchen in the suite, so that was a great surprise. It was super well equipped. We honestly wished we could have stayed longer.
The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so king. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the small lake on the property. There are also many bird feeders, so you get to watch the hummingbirds while you eat. There is a beautiful gallery as well with lots to see!
