Room was simple but clean and got lovely light and the location was fantastic. The staff was super nice (it was really great to have an afternoon espresso in the courtyard) and the restaurant was really great.
Admire the view of Trapani as you dine on the terrace at Hotel Elimo, set in the heart of the picturesque, mountain village of Erice in northwestern Sicily.

The service by the staff, especially Antonio. He was exceptional and always helpful throughout our stay, but especially in assisting us with the car and luggage meeting us in the municipal parking area and driving us and the car to the hotel where we unloaded the luggage. Location was great.
In the heart of the pretty, historic, little village of Erice, this charming hotel enjoys fantastic views of the Mediterranean coast from Bonagia to San Vito lo Capo.

The location is perfect. Right in the heart of all the attractions, shopping and restaurants. The taxi dropped us about 500 ft from the front door which was super convenient.
Just 984 feet from Erice Castle, Antico Borgo Erice is set on the main street of this historical town. This characteristic stone building offers rooms and an apartment, each with a balcony.

Antico Borgo is better than the pictures. Super cute and clean. Everything you need, with the staff close by. Great location. The restaurants and bakeries on the street are great, and lots of shops. The castle is a short walk up the street and there’s a breathtaking view on either side toward Marsala and toward San Vito Lo Capo.
Only 328 feet from the rocky beach, Orlando Vacanze Camere is 0.6 mi from Pizzolungo in Sicily. It offers air-conditioned accommodations, a terrace and a 24-hour reception.

Erice is a very charming town, and worth a visit, but only if you're able to walk steep hills and cobblestones. Maria Grammatico's pastry shop was a highlight for us, as was just walking around the town. Do be sure to 1) download EasyPark or a similar parking-pay app before you go, and if you stay in one of the hotels overnight, be sure to also download WhatsApp as most of the smaller Italian hotels use that to communicate.
All the food we had was great; prices were reasonable; not a lot of tourists, but even in early May, there were some.
We took a taxi up, which was pricer than the cable car, but I don't like heights!

Very old town with many things to see.
Very old town with many things to see.
Many restaurants for all kinds of food.
Since Erice is high up in the mountains, there are few level areas. Great for keeping in shape! You cannot get lost. It's a small town. Evenings get cooler, so bring a jacket if you plan to eat on a terrace.

The community has a nice offer for 12 Euro to enter all churches and monuments in the village. It can easily keep you busy and running around for a day in the village. A bus from/to the village from Trapani is 2,90 Euro and takes about 45 min. The Funivia (cable car is 6,50 Euro and takes about 20 min + the local AST 21 or 23 bus to take you there for 1,40 Euro). I saved one cable car ride for the last evening just as an experience enjoying the sunset views and using it as a way to reach the village late. The last bus from Trapani is 17.30 the last cable car around 20.00.

Apartment is located in the center of the old town, which is very nice. What we didn't like is a horrible and continuous noise coming from the water pomp, that we heard in our room. It was impossible to relax with this sound. Moreover we booked an apartment with a kitchen, which we didn't have. The host told us it was put in the add by mistake.

It's a fascinating medieval town where we spent many hours, we also had a lovely lunch at the convent restaurant.
We also went on the cable car with its fantastic view of Trapani below. There was actually nothing to do at the bottom so be went back up to Erice!
This was one of the most memorable stays of our entire trip around Sicily. Our friendly hosts met us as we drove in to the town, and guided us to a place to safely park our car for free (not easy in Erice). They are proud of their beautiful town and gave us a quick driving tour of the town and pointed out places of interest and shared the history of the town. The apartment itself was lovely, quiet, centrally located, with a gorgeous terrace view of the surroundings, and packed with thoughtful amenities. Special and unforgettable!
Very comfortable and clean apartment in an ideal location to.experience the history and beauty of Erice. Iole, the owner, is exceptionally friendly and hospitable, which made our time there very special. She helped us park our car and transport our bags into the historic center, took us on a driving tour sharing historical information about Erice, and stocked the apartment with a supply of local delicacies and foods. We travel as much as 6 months each year and have never been treated so well!
Hotel with amazing views of Mt. Cofano and the sea! Colombo, thank you for the wonderful room! The balcony is also large and comfortable. Breakfast is also varied and enjoyable. Colombo, Salvatore and the rest of the staff are also friendly and helpful. I only stayed for one day, but I wish I could have stayed a little longer. If I ever come to Erice, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
Al Postale 17 was a great little B&B right at the entrance to Erice. The host was a very nice woman and there is nothing I can really complain about or say was negative. Room was clean, morning coffee was great (I don't really eat breakfast but there were some pastries etc) and if you need to park the parking is right across from the B&B
centrally located near all the sights, restaurants and shops. accommodations were great: comfortable, warm heater, comfortable bed, big shower with plenty of hot water.
Maurizio picked us up at the free parking area which can be a bit difficult to find and brings us to our apartment. coffee maker in the room made tasty coffee.
The hosts are extremely kind and made everything for us to feel welcome! The apartment is located nearby the sea. Very convenient for the access to the beach, only few km away, and about 40 mins from some of the most beautiful beaches of Western Sicily. Plenty of facilities in the apartment.
Augustino and Sara are wonderful hosts.
Get the dinner. You must book the dinner. The food is excellent
Quiet, comfortable, beautiful view.
The food. Was. Amazing.
Easy driving distance of Erice, Trapani, Zingaro and others..
Did I mention that the dinner is excellent?
The owner was very responsive and helpful with getting there and around including parking which is not easy in Erice. The location is a couple of stairs from the center and the view from the breakfast terrace is unbelievable.
The accommodations were amazing, absolutely peaceful, and beautiful. We received a warm welcome, and our room was spotless and truly remarkably comfortable. We so enjoyed our stay and won't hesitate to stay again.
Location is amazing, with a wonderful view from my room. Hoeever, it is a 2* hotel, bathroom was super small, you can hear efrom the surrounding rooms. Check-in guy was rather cold, the morning staff was better.
Modernised appartment in old building in the heart of (no cars) mountain top village Erice, on 700 m elevation. Perfect place to explore (touristic) Erice, enjoy the views of the city walls.
The hotel, restaurant and staff were amazing. They were helpful with everything we asked about and knowledgeable about the town and events. We would definetly stay here again!
- extremely nice hosts
- super quiet and great for sleeping
- amazing (!) dinner, home cooked with local ingredients and love, best food we had in Sicily
Friendly host, parking in front of the house on the calm street. Nearby to the sea, Trapani/Erice. Next to the Pizzolungo hill. Good coffee and breakfast.
