Sylvia was an excellent host and always ready to help, morning or evening. Our room was spacious and the location was close to Bellagio without Bellagio prices.
The dinner at the attached restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend Il Governo for anyone looking to stay at Lake Como.

Lezzeno is a sweet spot for Como Lake, close to Bellagio but not touristic, has a boat pier (this is mandatory), couple of restaurants and bars, a bank.. not much more but that's what you need to relax!

Although there are few nice views of Lake Como, I would not suggest that you stay in Lezzeno. There were no shops or restaurants nearby. Something closer to or in Bellagio would be more advisable. Lezzeno seems to be more of a residential area. Be sure to take a bus ride to Bellagio. There is a ferry ride which takes you from Bellagio to other little tourist towns and this was beautiful. An absolute highlight day! The views of the beautiful lake and mountainous backdrop was quite breathtaking. Quaint and small.
Quaint and small. Probably need a car to move around but there are public transport options and taxis. Away from the busy areas but still close enough. Roads overall in Como are very narrow and require a bit of experience (especially as the locals will drive fast through them). Some restaurant options though we chose to eat in other places in Como. I loved Lezzeno. It was a nice quiet village atmosphere. The ferry was very close and there were plenty of little supermarkets to allow you to be very self sufficient. Water taxi rides were only 10-15 minutes to Bellagio and the views from the property we stayed in in Lezzeno were spectacular. We stayed in a fantastic house with the most beautiful view, great for family or friends get together with amazing kitchen & relax facilities. (all services, concierge, cook or cleaning available upon request). Lezzeno itself does not have much to offer and public transport or parking when you want to go to Bellagio, Mennagio or Como can be challenging, but advantage if you want to be away from mass tourism, this is the place to beAnneNetherlands - 10Scored 10

Lezzeno was the one ferry stop that was not overcrowded with visitors. It was nice to visit the other areas, and nice to come back to tranquility. The nearby market was at the bottom of the hill of our accommodation, and offered just what we needed. We loved a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the lake each evening.AAnonymous

The breakfast was amazing, literally everything you need in the morning. The property is located about 10min drive from Bellagio where you can take a boat to other parts of the Lake, so practical! and there is another ferry port in Lezzeno as well. I could park my car in the garage and it was very safe. The property is really close (walking distance) to amazing restaurants and Linda explains everything when you arrive.

Rooms are spatious, bathroom is very modern and accomodating. Breakfast is very good and is served on the terrace overlooking the lake. There is also a separate restaurant downstairs which also ovrlooks the lake, so very nice in the evening. Bellagio is only 10 minutes by car, so we used Hotel Helvetia as our base and used the public parking in Bellagio and walked around from there. You can also take various boat trips.

The location of the apartment was perfect, in the smaller town of Lezzeno with a few nice restaurants, bars and walks. It is a very easy and quick bus journey to Bellagio. The apartment was spotless, with lots of space, a fully equipped large kitchen, and a lovely outside area. There are some great mountain trails from Lezzeno, and from Bellagio you can get the ferry to Menaggio and Varenna, which we did and would recommend!IsobelUnited Kingdom

The breakfast was very basic and could've been skipped. All in all, great place to stay, if you're ok to climb up a hill to get a splendid view.
