A clean town which looks like it has no crime. We went to the police station for directions and found 2 officers there at 01h00. There were no people to report crime. The officers were even looking drowsy because they had nothing to do.

Swakopmund is so beautiful, couldn't take my eyes off the buildings. They were so mesmerizing. The streets are well organized and very safe neighborhoods.
My favorite place was the beach ⛱️. We ate at Spur, KFC and Shoprite. The food was delicious 😋
It's very easy to get around Swakopmund and the people there, were very nice.
The only thing I felt needed to be improved especially in the activities we did was tour guiding. I wish they could have explained more on each tour.

A little piece of Germany tucked onto the Namibian shore of the Atlantic Ocean. I felt comfortable walking around the town and down to the beach. It is a quiet place with no nightlife to write home about. People seem to be generally friendly. I wouldn't recommend it if you are party animal.

A trip to the coast especially Swakopmund is always exciting and way too relaxing. A small and Friendly town with residents ready to assist when you need any information. Hansa Hotel has been my favorite lunch place and "old days" memories.

My room overlooked the Ocean, my reason for being is Swakopmund. The beaches and surrounding grass and promenade were spotlesly clean as was the town. Everyone I dealt with was kind and helpful. Taxies were readily available but one had to negotiate the price as there was a great variance in price.

I have come to Swakopmund for many many years now, and it is always a beautiful Town to explore.
You can just relax at the sea side or do many of the offered activities,
The Food in many of the old Restaurants is very good.
Its really quiet, you wouldnt even notice that theres other guests.
Its within walking distance to the shops and the beach whicj was a total plus for us (something you should consider when booking a place in swakopmund).
The place is clean and its a self catering. Should you not be somebody like me who never intends to cook while away on holiday or for the weekend- most food places deliver and places you can have a feast or a cafe are a walking distance and its closer to spar where you can grab groceries and other essentials.
It is a small homestay with three rooms right in the center of Swakopmund. 5 minutes and you are at the beach and the jetty. The rims are beautifully painted and decorated. I loved the old wooden floors and the lovely furniture. Everything is thoughtful and pretty. If you are looking for a unique place to stay, this is it! Riaan the owner goes out of the way to make you comfortable. He helped us settle in, told us lots about the area and even let us sample some of the local dishes. We felt instantly welcomed!
Top tier!! I absolutely love the proximity of the house to the beach. It’s definitely home away from home, very safe, serene and child friendly!! The property is clean, with a beautiful garden and a fireplace inside! Love love everything about it, it’s modern and just the perfect getaway home! The hosts were really welcoming and truly gracious. We definitely enjoyed our time there! Hotels are a story of the past for my family and I. Thank you Mr and Mrs Bakkes
The hotel is located next to the beach and restaurants. They have standard and luxury accommodation. As I checked in I was advised to go on top of the roof to watch the sunset at 18h15, got advice on the available tours and attractions and my bookings were made on the spot. I must say that the person who checked me in was extremely efficient and I was impressed.
Lots of "space", big different rooms. Very comfortable. The bathroom facilities are part of the room which adds to the atmosphere, but you have to feel comfortable with this. Very friendly hosts. Good breakfast and lovely kitchen that guest can use for a quick meal. This is not a hotel, but a very special b&b. Parking is inside gate.
The owners of the hotel were so kind and accommodating. We were able to park our car in a secure area, which was great, however Also unnecessary as Swakopmund is very safe. The cafe downstairs from the hotel serves amazing coffee and has great staff. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location was also amazing!!
The location is perfect, literally a stones through away from the beach and a few minutes’ walk to Swakopmunds CBD. The layout and design of the property is something I really liked, warm and inviting while being modern at the same time. A great place to hang around while in between activities.
I booked for 3 nights but ended up staying a week as it is such a wonderful place to stay. It is well equipped for self catering, very quiet, wifi is great, it had netflix. It is close to the beach and to the shopping malls. Bibi is lovely and I would definitely come back again!
Location is excellent, walking distance from everything in town. Exceptional value for money and super clean. Kids loved the beach that is not even 2 minutes walking from the cottage. True Namibian hospitality, would definitely stay there again when in Swakopmund.
The breakfast was child friendly seeing that i was travelling with a 5 year old, waffles were served on the menue. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is right opposite the aquarium and a short walk to the jetty and the beach.
Very good floor plan, well organized. You even get a free lovely, well trained dog as a pet for your stay. The facility has all the necessity for self catering. Beautiful garden.
