My sons girlfriend meet us a the hotel right before check out. She had her little dog with her and as we were greeting her the dog ran into the room. That being said the housekeeper seen the dog go into the room and told management we had a a dog. The owners came running down yelling pet deposit. I tried to explain what had happened as they were under the impression the dog stayed all night. The language barrier kept me from explaining to her the situation. They demanded 50 cash. I pay her then she says my cash deposit of 50.00 will also be kept Therefore i. Don't recommend this place.

There is not much to do in Midway but we were just looking for a place to be with family during the Covid crisis. There are some nature preserves, museums, etc in the area but they were closed during the pandemic. What I loved was the feel of an old coastal town. Great for kayaking, canoeing, crabbing, etc. Also, it is only about 30 mins. to Savannah for those that want to commute.
