Breakfast was excellent with made to order omelets and delicious homemade banana bread and our room was clean and had a beautiful view of the river. The hot tub is more like a miniature swimming pool and was perfect for the kids since the outdoor pool was not open for the season yet. We will stay here for any future visits to Idaho Falls

Clean, comfortable, felt much fancier than I expected, great price, quite so I could sleep. The bathroom was roomy and had plenty of counter space. Had I stayed longer than one night (and had a car to go shopping), I would have been stoked to use the kitchen. Definitely planning on making this my go-to hotel when I'm traveling through the area (several times a year).

Shower was dirty with mildew. Room was not clean.
Shower was dirty with mildew. Room was not clean. I was given a room that was occupied by another guest. The lobby smelled really good. This is a Choice Hotel not what I am used to. I do not recommend this hotel.

I loved the charm of the city.
I loved the charm of the city. Beautiful waterfalls with a calm river. We visited the local farmer’s market and that was wonderful seeing local vendors and trying local food. Downtown was difficult to navigate (lots of one-way streets) on a Friday night, if we wanted to eat downtown we should have planned more time. We were headed to a concert and in a hurry so instead grabbed fast food on our way to the venue. Still good, but not downtown dining.

We love Idaho Falls It is a nice town.
We love Idaho Falls It is a nice town. If we could afford it, we would move here but homes are too expensive. The green belt is a lovely place to enjoy and for a smaller town it has most anything you could want Smittys has some of the best food ever, especially breakfast. Idaho Falls is the gateway to Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Lodging is expensive but cheaper than Jackson or West Yellowstone

Idaho Falls is a great little city.
Idaho Falls is a great little city. I recommend the Idaho Falls Temple which sits along the Snake River. It is gorgeous. They also have a visitor's center where they show you pictures of how the temple was built and have a Christus statue.
Idaho Falls has lots of places to shop and eat.

A great little town with so much to do for a couple of days...
A great little town with so much to do for a couple of days as we travelled north to Yellowstone national park. A lovely river walk with a long waterfall, trees and grassy areas to picnic on. The farmers market is near the river each Saturday, not to be missed.
Requested a ground floor room but was not given one. I expect because of my late arrival. Hotel looked full. Room, breakfast and employees were very nice and respectful. Loved the K cup coffee. Maybe offer up better choices in sugars and creams ?? For many, stevia sweetener is best and dietary for the older folks, many of which having diabetes. Also, the packaged powder cream needs to go. Gives the accommodations an "industrial" feel to it.
Having stayed before in motels that were higher priced & supposedly "better", we were pleasantly surprised with our room. The building is obviously older than many, but it has been pretty well maintained, and the room was spotless. The bed was nicely firm, with no sagging in the middle. The parking lot was adequate for different types of vehicles and seemed to be well watched over.
I call to put a complaint in with priceline and Booking.com. the worst hotel iv stayed in. It took 3 different rooms before we got a room that was ok to sleep in. Someone was to call us back and never has. I have pictures of bugs in the room furniture broken food on the walls and alot more. I want my money back
I have found that most IHG hotels are a safe bet. The room was alright but it could have been cleaner and a bit better equipped. I think the franchise gives owners a bit too much freedom to choose how they outfit their facilities and choose to run operations. Some are excellent while others are just average.
The room was clean and the property is maintained well. The other guests at the hotel were primarily families that were traveling with pets. The hotel is away from the main streets in Idaho Falls and very quiet. There are two large pieces of grass on the property for dog walking.
Everything was fine. The room was comfortable and spacious. Everything was in good working order. Breakfast was included and quite delicious with potatoes included! The staff was very nice and helpful and checkin and checkout was quick. Parking is cheap and easy.
Bagged breakfast both days was sufficient and tasty! Or room was closest to apartment building, but all was quiet. The musty room smell was most likely the carpet! For the room cost, we were pretty much satisfied and would, if in Idaho Falls again, stay again.
The room and facilities were nice. However they had painters painting the outside of their 8 floor hotel. They got overspray all over our car. We have contacted the hotel many times to get this problem corrected. They seem to be giving us the run around.
This hotel is located just off the I-15, which was great since we were on a roadtrip. The manager at the reception was very friendly and helpful, giving us a great recommendation on where to get dinner.
The location is excellent, though there are many other hotels and motels in the same area. We would absolutely not stay at Le Ritz again. It was a Motel 6 level stay selling itself as a new boutique.
I came, spent the night, slept well, and left one the next leg of my trip. Motel West was clean, the people were polite, and the parking was convenient.
The byline for the hotel is "affordable excellence" and that was our experience. Clean, spacious, well appointed room and lots of choice for breakfast.
