Not as advertised, owner lived there and had a cat, our daughter is extremely allergic to cats. This is a lived in home where the owner simply rents out rooms. None of this was disclosed in the add.

The price was equal to the accommodations. It was an older hotel but clean, quiet, and safe. Walking distance to a restaurant in the parking lot area was very helpful. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The 6 year old boy who traveled with us loved climbing on the Tank parked on Bridge street. We loved watching him. We spent a day in Yellowstone Park and went to the Playmill Theater in West Yellowstone. (next year the Playmill will be in its new location at Mack's Inn). We also hiked in the Civil Defense Cave which is a large lava tube passed the sandhills. We have been there before, but the signs were very helpful in finding it again. We mostly had meals in the house we rented. Even though it was stocked with dishes I brought paper products. It was a vacation not to wash dishes.

There isn't a lot to do in St.
There isn't a lot to do in St. Anthony but it is reasonably close to Yellowstone Park and Jackson Hole and places in between. There is a lot going on the week including July 24 each year with local celebrations, a rodeo, car show, community well-done play, and parade the Saturday closest to the 24th. It is a quiet town most of the time. It is ten miles from a WalMart and college town - Rexburg, ID. It was my home town so I like it! The Snake River runs through the middle of the town.

I dont want to give out a good reply because Im afraid that every one will want to stay at this nice little town and turn it into a dump just like other tourest towns that eveyone has caught on too!!
It was a cozy spot. We loved that it was more affordable than almost any hotel we would find nearby and it gave us more space to spread out with our family and in-laws. It was also a longer driver than we had anticipated going to and from Yellowstone but it was possible which is one of the reasons we chose this location. The owners were incredibly kind and made sure we were welcomed upon arrival and ga s us a detailed card with instructions about things not working in the house and how we were to close up upon leaving.
Very unique and cool hotel/Inn! Doesn't look like much from the outside except an old building front with an old town look! The owners are welcoming and friendly. Rooms/suites are modernized, clean and layed out nicely. Suites have full kitchens and stocked for cooking and dining. To put it in simple terms, these are very nice, unique rooms. Saloon style bar and steakhouse in the works! Decor is Western themed and vintage! Highly recommend Silver Horseshoe Inn in St. Anthony!
This historic hotel is great!!! The rooms have been completely remodeled! Our room was gorgeous! Everything is top of the line. The bed and linens were fabulous! The kitchen is gorgeous and all the fixtures are really nice quality and the decor and furnishing are beautiful. This hotel was way beyond our expectations! We are already planning another trip to the area and will definitely be staying here!
Very comfortable stay, host was friendly and respectful. Quiet area in a small town. Don't judge based on the low price; this was as comfortable as and quieter than our hotel stays. Two shared bathrooms and shared kitchen and living area with entertainment center and video games for the kids. Host was very accommodating to our large family.
Be aware, this is not a hotel. You are staying in Jason’s a Stephanie’s home. And I really enjoyed my stay. The room was nice, clean and cozy. The price was unmatchable. I was visiting Yellowstone and this place was just perfect for sleeping and getting up super early to travel to the national park. Thank you!

Although a quite old motel everything was very clean and functional. Plus unlike some of our recent stays in more expensive hotels the room was serviced each day. Location beside the river is great with dining and other services close by. Represents very good value for money and would stay again. :-)
Stayed here and made a long journey to Yellowstone NP everyday for three days, lol. But it was very affordable compared to the hotels at west Yellowstone. Room was clean and spacious, bathroom was clean, good amenities, ample parking, had a small restaurant next door, gas pumps nearby.
The restaurant is not open at this time so the hotel provides breakfast food in the refrigerator (there was a full kitchen in the room) for you to cook.
