My room was very large about the size of a studio apartment. The location was very convenient. Right next to a McDonald's that stayed open 24hrs for them late night cravings. Walmart and other retailers were within 2-3 miles and there were a handful of other restaurants withing the vicinity. I dont know why the rating is so low I didnt have any of the problems other guests complain about.

Honestly hotel is in a great location. Nothing was bad about the area.

Kenner is a sweet spot for an easy stay when you want to experience the Jefferson-Orleans Parish area. Many of the hotels are just off I-10 making it convenient to other cities surrounding it such as Metairie, Chalmette and New Orleans, which is a quick 15 minutes away depending on traffic. Everything you'd want (food, shopping, bowling, bakeries, parks etc.) is just around the corner or a mile or two away if you stay in the area around the Louis Amstrong International Airport.

Kenner is a busy area but traffic generally flows well.
Kenner is a busy area but traffic generally flows well. The main streets lead to shopping centers, entertainment and dining. Not far from a really nice Mall and of course a short drive to New Orleans. We ate at to numerous places to list but I can honestly state I never had a bad meal or bad service. Make sure to arrange your exploring after the morning and before the evening rush hour, that can be a challenge. All in all, Kenner is a user friendly place and it does help if you have a MAPS or Google maps on your cell phone. Lafouniere Park is a great place to walk and visit the bird sanctuary and get some exercise and fresh air.

It really sucks when you check into a hotel and get slammed with fees that are unexpected. There is a charge for parking at the hotel that they don't tell you about. When you check in they tell you about it but it is to a third party that controls that. So when you book your stay online, you can't get refunded if you refuse to pay for parking. Overall it sucks. Pay a little more and stay at a better place.

The hotel was nice, but the sewage smell in the bathroom was horrible. I was on the 3rd floor, and the noise level was very loud that night, and disturbed my sleep. I called the front desk about the disturbance, but the noise level continued.

Rude people.
Rude people. Went to a graduation and everyone was getting escorted out by security and police. People was screaming at everyone. Very unsafe. Traffic is dangerous and unsafe. Roads are designed strange. Very wasteful for gas. Forces you to take U- turns

Only spent the night on our way to a cruise.
Only spent the night on our way to a cruise. We did walk down to the convenience shop located a block away to pick up some chicken for supper. There food was delicious and their staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Self-check in, never met the hosts but were kind and communicative. Despite being a small room it had everything needed for short stays: mini fridge, sink, dishware, microwave, smart TV, hot water, AC and a comfortable bed. Enough place for guests to park next to the property. Highly recommended to bring a car. Actual property location is a few blocks away from the one provided by Booking, make sure to read and save the information sent by the hosts for check in.
The hotel was a good option to stay in New Orleans outside of the more expensive French Quarter for one night when one arrives very late in the evening. Getting an Uber on the next morning to downtown was not a problem at all.
The people at this hotel were very kind and helpful. They gave me several suggestions where I could get a late dinner which was great. I like the Southern kindness and the way everyone treats you like an old friend.
The STAFF the ROOM the STAFFFFFFFF!!!
To me all was great !!
But it is the staff that makes the whole stay excellent. From the day shift to the wonderful gentleman on the graveyard shift !! . Thank you to the shuttle bus service man for getting us at the airport at 1am which that service is provided by the hotel too..I
will definitely recommend The Double Tree by Hilton in (kenner) New Orleans to everyone I know or ask.
My trip to New Orleans was awesome and the rooms were extremely nice didn't want to get up out of the bed because the bed was very comfortable and pillows were so fluffy and comfortable so I like everything about my stay the front desk receptionist Ms Yvette was very friendly at check out to be honest everyone was real nice and friendly
A convenient location close to MSY airport with free shuttle.
Easy check in wirh friendly staff. Big room with good sitting area and huge bed. Good to have a microwave in room to heat up snacks. WiFi was good. Appreciated the on time wake up call and early morning shuttle to airport.
The beds were so comfortable. Clean room. Staff was amazing. Loved having the shuttle to the airport. We took our rental car the night before and were able to use the shuttle to get back to the hotel
Amazing hotel, super friendly staff, exceptionally clean hotel. Rooms were super spacious and clean.Breakfast had a lot of different variety and was way better compared to regular continental breakfast.
Room was ok, breakfast was not as good as other LA Quinta location but filling. Airport was good but had to take a taxi because there is no shuttle available from the Hotel.
Location and facilities were perfect for the need to catch an early flight. The hotel improvements are noted. Very clean and staff were amazing! Rooms were nice and comfy.
The staff and the general manager were all super friendly and nice. General manager/ owner was so generous to my baby son and accommodating. Great hotel.
