The updates to the room were nice. It had an overall cottage-like feel with the exposed brick. Large, updated bathroom. Upon arrival the room was nice a clean. The staff was also very nice whenever we interacted with them.

Staff, owners, and facilities were top rate. We really enjoyed them all. The only downside was small bathroom, but as the Inn was an old house remodeled by the current owners, they have done an amazing job. The interior’s of the main house and the rooms is first rate. Owners Steve and John are very friendly, and as was all of the staff. The location couldn’t be better.
Gananoque is always so lovely! It was a little sleepy with not much going on in April (compared to summer). Love Joel Stone park. Fun to check out the flea market, and boutiques. There is a great forested area near the marina we walked in, but no official trails. I wish City cruises took the opportunity to run cruises the weekend we were there (only ran a cruise in eclipse Monday, and following weekend even though a lot of visitors in town this weekend for eclipse). Great indian restaurant (1000 curries) on King street, and enjoyed great sunset views from Muskie Jack Pub.

Wonderful little town.
Wonderful little town. People are friendly and the place is clean. They take great care of their corner of the world. Beautiful facilities and parks. Small downtown had plenty of shops & restaurants, Sidewalks were clear and well kept. We had a great time and will return in the summer when the season is really humming.

The breakfast was inadequate.
The breakfast was inadequate. There were NO cereals and NO fruit. Breakfast came ALL ON ONE PLATE-including the toast! Coffee came IN A MUG!. Tea was hot water in a pot with a teabag sitting on top! I had brought porridge (oatmeal) with me but I wasn't allowed to get it cooked for me, or put it myself into a microwave.

Lovely little town to explore for couple of days.
Lovely little town to explore for couple of days. Scenic location and great walks. Boat trips couple of minutes walk away. Interesting free museum to visit. We were there in mid Sept and place was very much winding down . Limited choice of boat trips , boat museum closed and many cafes/shops closed.

First and foremost, the natural beauty of Gananoque is simply breathtaking. Nestled amidst the stunning Thousand Islands region, the charm of Gananoque extends beyond its natural wonders. The town itself is a delightful blend of historic architecture, quaint shops, and friendly locals. One of the standout experiences in Gananoque is, of course, the boat tour through the Thousand Islands. Cruising through these emerald waters while learning about the history and folklore of the area is an unforgettable adventure. In conclusion, my visit left me with cherished memories.

Incredible waterfront and beach, artsy downtown with nice restaurants historic feel good shopping and parks. Cute marina. Bike friendly, lots to do. Good coffee. Good place to bring kids. Hiking trails around town, lots of public washrooms. Would definitely go back with kids in summer. The beach is tiny but beautiful with playground, washrooms. Splash pad and soft sand.
Best location in Gananoque! We walked everywhere and spent time in the lovely Joel Stone park. Swimming pool was great, so nice to pop intonsauna for post swim warmup. Breakfast was so convenient and had nice variety (hard boiled eggs, sausage and egg rounds, yogurt, cereal, apples, oranges, toasts, coffee, juice). My kids loved the pancake maker! Room was small but comfortable, beds super comfy. Coffee maker, microwave, fridge.
The location was fantastic and the hospitality we received was outstanding. The inside was quirky and comfortable. The host was amazing and we felt very looked after. We met great people and were able to chat downstairs in the lounge area which was really nice. The breakfast was outstanding! The best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel or bed and breakfast. We would absolutely stay there again.
The breakfast was great, pub/restaurant also had great food. Gananoque Boat tours could not have been closer, just a skip and hop away approx 3 minutes walk. Stonewater is very Rustic which gives it it's character. We stayed in the Loft (Attic part) Very well done but beware of peaked ceilings hahaha especially if you are taller. Would definately return!!!!
Your stay will be a travel back in time, surrounded by antiques, the smell of fresh cut flowers from EnglisH garden, High tea in afternoon and enjoying brief conversations with other guests. No one should miss this experience- Lynn and Jack Keating, Richmond Hill, Ontario
The breakfast was amazing, couldn't have asked for a nicer breakfast, it was really delicious. The location is perfect.
It is a beautiful old house with beautiful antiques in it. The rooms are something you would find in a five star hotel .
Well worth staying in it.
More like a hotel that serves breakfast instead of a traditional B&B. Our room was large but could use some refurbishing. The breakfast was wonderful and worth the cost of staying here. The location is great, near the Thousand Islands and the US border.
The location is fantastic - on the water, on the bike path and a quick drive to Gananoque. Enjoyed a fire in the fire pit ( bought wood at a nearby gas station). The owner was very responsive. The price is good compared to other places nearby.
Awesome people...double booked ..so the owner booked me a room accross the street...totally shocked me..what nice honest people..wow..id recommend big time...they are what innkeepers should be these days...thank u
I didnt even stay, I ended up going to another hotel. The room was absolutely damp and smelled. I got there late and didnt feel like having a discussion with the front desk so I just went somewhere else
The breakfast was good, hand cooked by the owners of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.
The staff was accommodating and very friendly. Reasonably priced for one night stay.
Lovely hosts. Really clean room, very spacious. Felt like a 5 star hotel on how big the place was. Hosts are warm and friendly and just a great vibe overall.
Nice area and very accessible to touristic attractions of 1000 island. Very calm and friendly hotel. Excellent patio and food.
Beautiful design and garden.
