The property was swanky and modern however once I reached my room I was greeted by a bug on my all white sheets that looked very similar to a bed bug. I was informed by the staff that they could do nothing about this at the time, it was around 12am when I checked in.

Visiting Nashville for the first time was great. Found everyone very friendly and helpful. Most people very happy walking around Third Ave. Lots of shops, bars and food. We visited Bar Louie quite often. For a survey they give you a free dish with corn chips which was quite hefty. Also ate at Paula Deen's,. Loved it.. It's right opposite the mall.

Two days in Nashville was perfect.
Two days in Nashville was perfect. We wanted to see and feel the vibe of Broadway and do some shopping for Western apparel. Pleasant surprises were the excellent food (try the amazing Locust if you can get a table) and the 12South district, which is cool for shaping and dining. Also, don't miss the view from the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridgewalking bridge across the Cumberland River.

The food was good.
The food was good. My favorite place was Friends in Low Places. Try their fried pickles. Out of this world. Do not get a drink at Freebird. On top of regular tax they charged us a 24% alcohol tax. We were informed everyone on Broadway charged this. That was a lie. The only place that charged that was Freebird. Gaylord Opryland Resort was beautiful.

Nashville is not quite like it was 20 years ago.
Nashville is not quite like it was 20 years ago. It has almost become over-flooded with tourists that it was lost its hometown feel. Yes, it is fun for a little bit, but you cannot even squeeze through the crowds, similar to NYC. I am also surprised no one said "Excuse me" or "I'm sorry", no matter how many times they ran into us or cut in front of us.
We stayed at the Home2 Suites Metro-center, which was the most peaceful part of our trip.
We visited The Thirsty Turtle, which was THE BEST. Ate at TrapHouz Wings and Velvet Taco. Definitely recommend all three.
DO NOT ORDER DOOR DASH FROM CATFISH KITCHEN. It is a scam. When it takes you to the restaurant it is a rundown Captain D's.

Great spot for music lovers for sure!
Great spot for music lovers for sure! Highly recommend for live music and bar hopping. If music isn't really your thing you may find it boring and repetitive to just go to bars.
Definitely recommend getting some Nashville chicken while here. They also have some great brunch/breakfast cafe's but many have lines around the building so make sure to get there early or get a reservation in advance if possible.
Getting around Nashville I am a bit split on. It seems some areas did have public transport but the bus stops don't have much signage to help you know where they stop at or go to. We drove around for the most part and finding parking can sometimes be a challenge and expensive. Definitely plan ahead on where you will park and have a back-up plan too.
I would skip out on the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The tickets were overpriced for what you get to see and there are so many other better museums that you could go to for a better price.
Easy access to The Grand Old Opry which is why we booked this hotel. We used the shuttle service ($10 return/person) to attend the The Grand Old Opry Christmas Show. Very convenient. Next day we used the shuttle service again to head downtown to experience Nashville in its finest. We enjoyed our stay as the rooms were a great size, suitably furnished, the bed comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and clean. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast but service was great, the room was clean and the food well stocked.
Hotel was ideally located for the Nissan Stadium which was 10 min walk away on game day. There was also a shuttle service running to downtown Nashville throughout the day and evening which dropped off at the end of the strip so bars and attractions were easy to reach.
Breakfast was buffet style with cooked items as well as cereals, pastries and cook your own waffles. Always well stocked and cooked.
Room was clean if a little battered in places, but was great for a couple of days stay in Nashville.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and the bathroom was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Far enough from the main road to prevent traffic noise. Appreciate that the hotel checked to make sure our stay was going well. Available paid shuttle to and from downtown Nashville was a great option to driving and paying for expensive parking. Location was very close to the main attractions outside of downtown Nashville. Ample restaurants near the hotel. Good value hotel.
The hotel was conveniently located in Downtown Nashville with guest parking attached. The staff was very friendly and the bartender gave us an incredible tip about easy entry into the Predators hockey match. The breakfast was yummy every morning. We did have the evening cocktails, but skipped the bites since we were planning on enjoying local restaurants. We had a long trip for the holiday and were also able to use the laundry facility to freshen up some clothes as well.
The hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly. We arrived in the morning and we were given a room - really appreciated that. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We had the breakfast one morning. Plenty of selection. Very good. Great location for walking to Broadway! It is so expensive to stay in Nashville now. The Homewood Suites was less expensive than other hotels near Broadway but overall, still a lot to pay per night (in my opinion).
Beautiful hotel with big comfy beds just across the street from Vanderbilt. The decor is beautifully modern, with charming Nashville touches, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located about 8-10 minutes away from the Strip, and is a great retreat away from the noise. The rooms seem very new and clean and comfortable. Highly recommended, and good value for the money comparatively, because Nashville is not cheap!
Right near the capitol building, the Capitol Hotel is in a great location. It's easy to walk to Broadway, Printer's Alley, and other places of interest. It's only a 10 to 15 minute walk from The Gulch. Downtown Nashvile is clean and feels very safe, even at night.
The room itself was very nice, way cleaner and organized than I expected. They also serve complimentary breakfast, which I did not take, but it's something to note.
The hotel is in an excellent location to everything! Nashville is a whole vibe with lots of things to do. There were many shops and restaurants in walking distance. The room was a nice size, I really like the large walk-in shower and the water stayed hot. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and I slept well. The room has a refrigerator, stove, sink and microwave. They also provide utensils and dishes.
very good suite and easy to get into Nashville (12 minute drive- park in the public library on 6th Avenue. The hotel was near to a large Walmart and about 15 minutes from the Grand Ole Opry. Petrol station across the way was a good price for filling up for the airport(about 15 minutes away)
The property was fairly close to the action of downtown Nashville short cheap Ubers. Staff was very nice and helpful. No problems when I asked for a room change. They have a nice outdoor area. Good option if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and will be out all day traveling.
Lovely huge rooms. Loved the kitchenette in the room, perfect for making breakfast, coffee etc.
Location is great if you have a car. Nice to stay away from the busy, hectic downtown area plus it’s a lot cheaper too!
Staff at front counter were all friendly and helpful
Comfort Inn Downtown Music City Center exceeded my expectations with its attentive front desk staff who were friendly and accommodating. The hotel's prime location and comfortable accommodations made for a delightful stay in Nashville.
The price of the hotel is very cheap. It was also very close to the Nissan Stadium which was the main draw of the hotel. It is very easy to get in and out of the hotel, because there isn't much traffic nearby.
Location: Although this hotel is approx. 30-35 minute walk from downtown Nashville, the area it's situated in has a number of really good bars and places to eat that we actually preferred.
We really enjoyed our stay! It was super clean for being a cheap downtown hotel. The complementary breakfast was delicious and their wasn’t anything to complain about.
Nice clean finish to the apartment with great amenities. Bed was super comfy.
Not too far from downtown so Ubers were cheap and close to grocery stores.
