Highly recommended for solo travelers or couples. I initially booked for just one night but ended up staying three weeks in this charming castle. Located in the heart of the city, this historical gem is adorned with beautiful art, and you can enjoy a stunning view of Christ the Redeemer right from your room. The large garden and relaxing pool are perfect for unwinding, and the rooftop offers breathtaking sunsets. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every Sunday, there's a free BBQ, and the breakfast is simply amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options. The warm, social atmosphere made me feel right at home. I loved the location, close to both Copacabana and Ipanema, surrounded by great restaurants, markets, stores, exchange offices, everything you need. The activities at the hostel were always fun, the bartenders were awesome, and the dance teacher Camilo was amazing. Special shout-out to their tour guide Lari, who organized incredible free tours, always shared great information, took amazing photos, and even taught some Portuguese for free. I highly recommend staying here!
