We loved our stay at Hortensias, the villas are so cute, the little electric fireplace was used a couple nights just to cut the dampness. Had two meals for supper and we enjoyed them, breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend.

You can tell when you walk in the door that the owners / managers actually care about your experience. Great first impression. And then you notice the rain shower head, the extra blankets and towels, nice firm pillows, modern decor… very well thought out with attention to details. Hands down the best value of any place I’ve stayed near the airport.

The host was super attentive and helped our journey so easy!!! We would like to come back to stay here soon! Almost everything we need for short stay are there so we were very very very comfortable and we slept in very comfortable bed and we could relax so much after a long flight journey!

    We loved staying at Casa del Cafe! The house has tons of charme and the property is incredible. We highly recommend the breakfast - it's delicious and you can choose if you would like to eat in the dining room of the farm house or outside in the garden. They also provide yoga mats to use in the garden.

    We just stayed one night on our way from the caribean side to Monteverde and did not expect to stay in such an exceptional accomodation. The owners were very welcoming, served a tasty healthy breakfast personally in their beautiful villa with so much history. We spent a wonderful morning in the lovely big garden with many birds and their nice and well educated dogs. We can recommend this very special amiable apartments.
