Was lovely, in a ideal location, my room and breakfast was superb.. a lovely little chilled out weekend in a lovely hotel

Really nice rooms, super accommodating with the dog (Bowls, Beds, Towels) Breakfast we great, lots of selection and staff were really nice.

Everything, staff, location, food, service… everything was simply heaven

As an American on a 2 week family vacation all over England, this was our favorite place we stayed! The staff was outstanding. Family operated and everyone was fabulous. The waitstaff, bartenders, cooks, were all super friendly and helpful. Rooms and beds were all very comfortable and clean. All rooms have been remodeled in the last couple of years. The location and the views from the patio were incredible. Food was great. We had 3 rooms booked for 5 people total. Good value. We wish we could have stayed a few more days.

We were there for our anniversary, and the proprietor generously baked us a cake to celebrate!

Self check in was very convenient. The room was big enough for us to re pack all our luggage. We were very comfortable in every way. Location and views were amazing. Breakfast was cooked very nicely and to order.

Clean and comfortable and perfectly situated. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

This is exactly the type of quirky historical hotel I like to stay in. Slanty floors, lots of stairs and fire doors, great view of the street below and best of all a pub! The bathroom was large which was a nice surprise.

Beautiful location and facility. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything was excellent. The view from the top floor room 8 was beautiful. Lovely hosts and very comfortable. Excellent value for money. Very close to park and river for a before breakfast walk to see if the heron was there. They have my favourite yogurt at breakfast (the Yeo natural one)

Location was a key step to all the hikes.

The flat was just the right size for us, with everything we needed as a family of four. It was clean and tidy. The location is ideal, and we spent most of our time outside and exploring. The parking is a massive bonus, and although it's unreserved we had no issues finding a space when we needed to. Kitchen is small but well equipped.

Great part of town - steps from the park one way, and Main Street the other. Washer/Dryer functioned well (this is surprisingly rare). Back patio with table and chairs, beautiful birdsong in May. Dedicated parking spot. Hot shower. Bottle of wine left for us by owner (we didn’t drink it, but a nice gesture!) We’re grateful for the chance to stay here.
