Great place to stop off when travelling, we could have spent more time getting to know Lanark better. Both rooms are in an Annex and are both identical; I could not fault the bedroom and ensuite facilities. The hosts and breakfast were great.

Upon arrival we were welcomed by Avril and Alan who were very friendly and showed us to our room and took our breakfast order for the next day. Beds were comfortable with a good amount of pillows and beautiful clean bedding. Shower room was clean and well stocked with towels, shower gel and shampoo there was also shower caps and some bathroom disposal items (cotton pads etc) available if needed. The room we stayed in was lovely and big could fit 4-6 people depending on ages of children.Would definitely recommend and would return and stay again if I was visiting the area for an overnight again. Breakfast was delicious and pre ordered. Good selection of non cooked items also with fresh fruit available. Ample parking for the size of the accommodation in a very lovely rural spot.

We are on a Lands End to John O’Groats cycling trip and took a two night one day rest stop in Lanark. One the whole trip this was one of the best equipped properties we have stayed at. It was clean and someone has paid real attention to detail down to having a little welcome basket. Washington machine and kitchen facilities had everything we needed and were in good condition. I don’t do many reviews but this property was definitely above average and worth commenting on positively.

We absolutely loved our stay at this quaint and beautifully decorated home! It was perfectly situated between Edinburgh and Glasgow, making it an ideal base for exploring both cities while enjoying the charm and quiet of a lovely little town. The house itself had everything we could possibly need — from a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful extras like books, games, and entertainment options that made our downtime relaxing and fun. Every room was tastefully decorated with a cozy, welcoming feel that made us feel right at home. We wanted a cute place to recover from the flight before starting our tour. The staff was SO helpful and worked with us to find dinner reservations and locations to visit. Breakfast was traditional English and very tasty! Because one of our suitcases went on its own little excursion, the hotel was kind enough to sign for it and place it in our room. My husband had a bit of a health issue on the last day and the staff was SUPER responsive and helpful, so we were able to get him back into condition to continue our trip. (The staff even loaded ALL our bags into our car for us!)
