Room 228 is small, but we were out sight seeing every day so the size was never an issue. Staff were exceptional. Paul the concierge welcomed us on arrival, handled our bags and showed us our room. He went through the emergency evacuation procedures thoroughly. I have never had hotel staff do that. The Whitley Neil rhubarb and ginger gin and tonic is the best gin and tonic I have ever had! Breakfasts were impeccable.

The bus stop is located a short walk - about 2 blocks from the hotel. The boat to St Elizabeth castle is located near the bus stop. The hotel room was large, comfy bed, and our room had a great view over the harbor and St Elizabeth castle. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking to the waitresses in the hotel bar.
