What a fantastic place!? A beautiful location in the Staffordshire countryside. The property itself has been set up wonderfully, with an outside sitting area and beautiful surrounding gardens. It is only a 15 min drive to Alton Towers, which is why we went, but it was a lovely place to stay. The fan was a great extra touch because when we stayed, it was 30 degrees that day! A great breakfast in the morning too.

Everything was perfect. The location is excellent, it's 5 minutes walk to the town center. We stayed here to attend Uttoxeter races, this is within walking distance. The room is very nice, it has a big ensuite and everything you need (home from home). Also as an extra bonus to the room.. the bed is really really comfortable. Peter is a great host. Thank you for a perfect stay 😁

Extremely easy access via a lock box. The code was provided well in advance. Plenty of items and utensils in the kitchen. The washing machine and dishwashers were very handy. Antibacterial hand wash at each sink. Plenty of towels and a good supply of tea towels to see us through the week. Very friendly hosts!

Made us feel at home from the minute we got there. It was very peaceful and the views were fantastic. Definitely will revisit just checking holidays and we will rebook another stay. The shepherds hut was fantastic warm and cosy extremely comfortable and a great layout. Family dog came and visited extremely freindly .
