Excellent location at the National Park. Good food choices in the restaurant and they are able to arrange shuttles and tours to the park (note that tickets need to be bought in advance, they guided us well about that. Electricity is temporary, internet is on all the time. 2.23MB/s down/2.82MB/s up. Recommend to stay. 2 days is better to be able to do both sunrise and sunset tours.

The hotel is in the jungle. All the driving is done once you reach the Jungle Lodge. The rooms or I should say cabins were perfect and roomy. The food was very good and portions were fine. They have an array of drinks available for a refreshiing experience after hiking. The electricity out after 11:00 pm until 6:00 am was not a problem. We were tired from trekking all day. We did miss WiFi in the room.

The property is close to the Tikal national park entrance which is why we chose to stay here.

This is an example of a situation where terrible service and staff attitude can spoil your stay in such a beautiful place. We only liked the location of the lodge, right in the heart of Tikal.

People stay here for the location. Which was fantastic! We arranged an afternoon/sunset tour of Tikal, which started at noon. Since we had day-passes to the park anyway, we went there in the morning (5 minute walk from the hotel), when it was not crowded at all, and relatively cool and wandered around before returning to the spot where we met our tour for lunch. The grounds at the hotel were very nice. The restaurant was quite good, and reasonably priced.

Beautiful, aesthetically furnished, excellent staff, extremely clean, excellent location that could not be better. Tours offered at great price. Pick up and drop to Flores at reasonable cost was helpful. I think this is the best way to see Tikal. Tikal is such a beautiful place that it would be a pity not to stay within the forest to experience it and Tikal lodge is one of two properties that is within the forest area

Perfect place to stay in Tikal. It‘s actually inside the park area, so perfectly quiet and yet the closest you can get.

The staff were lovely best part of our stay. The accommodation is basic. If you like a little bit of luxury this is not for you. Jungle Lodge would be the place for you.

Although it was labelled as a hostel... we had the most privileged stay of our holiday... things that are missing like permanent electricity and own bathroom are not noticed at all . The pool finishes it off with great spottings of toucans and spider monkeys.
