Fantastic location, in the heart of Siena

This hotel is right in the heart of the old city. It is very close to the Duomo and Del Campo. There are also many narrow streets and alleys to explore. Many nearby restaurants are closed in January, but the hotel provided a map of nearby eateries and highlighted several that were open. The room was larger than we expected, with a massive walk-in shower, larger than some bathrooms in other hotels. It was rainy when we were there, but the heating system worked well in the room. There was a comfortable sitting area on the 2nd floor. An elevator goes up to the 2nd floor, but only stairs lead to the terrace. Breakfast was included and had a wide array of options, including healthy seed toppings for granola, a large bowl of fresh yogurt, pancakes and Nutella.

Every person on the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They had detailed answers to every question I asked about the area, what to do, where to go, etc. Fantastic stay at La Colonna.

I stayed here several times while searching for permanent accommodation. I kept returning because the staff is very kind and the breakfast is great. Definitely the best hotel I had during my time in Siena.

The comfort and quality this apartment hotel offers is just superb. We had a superior apartment that was equipped with literally everything up to the dish washing liquid and sponge and not to mention the other small details. Bed and pillows were ones of the most comfortable we’ve slept on in a hotel with a proper hotel quality linen. Free coffee in the morning at the reception. Plenty of private parking and a few restaurants within the building complex. Historic Siena is around 20-25 minutes walk (though uphill, so maybe better take a bus on the way up, but do walk down to avoid missing some of the most beautiful buildings and sceneries). Staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful.

It was clean and tidy. The location is perfect with plenty of free parking spots. They also provide a free private parking up to filling it's capacity. The hosts are very kind!

The premise and the scenery are breathtaking. It is the ideal sanctuary for a few days away from pollution, noise, and crowds. All within a very reasonable price. The staff was kind and welcoming which made the stay feel so homie. Also, great music taste around the premises(and the staff was so kind to share the Spotify playlist). Dinners at the restaurant were quite good & you have the option to modify the dish to your liking. Cute friendly labrador wanting to be petted is a big plus for dog lovers too. All in all, I had a lovely stay. Would like to come back. Keep up the great work! If I had to be picky - perhaps an upgrade of the mattress would be worth it.

Everything was amazing! Being right on the piazza was incredible and Luisa was such a lovely host with thoughtful touches - fresh fruit and coffee! Even croissants the morning we left. Was just a perfect Siena experience, thank you so much Luisa!

Loved the views, the balconies and the spacious bedroom and living areas! The convenience to everything was key to a wonderful experience! Bed was comfy! Also to mention that there are no staircases to enter into this property… loved that! Kitchen is equipped for making meals with everything you need at hand. Would love to stay here again!
