The location was a few minutes away from the JR station and right by other metro stations. We made no contact whatsoever with staff and check-in was done on the tablet. They sent me a link prior to check in so that we did not waste time in the lobby where we just went in, scanned our QR code and got our room right away. We got the top floor surprisingly and it offered such a new view. The room itself was very spacious, much more than what we needed haha but did appreciated how clean it was. I have made 8 bookings during our time in Japan and I can say that this accommodations made it to the top 3.

- Clean, fresh, beautiful apartment - has pretty much everything you need: toothbrush, hair brush, slippers, kitchen appliances for cooking and eating - it has a washing machine which I think is super amazing! (detergents are free) - close to metro station, so easy to go around within Osaka and Kyoto - there a big supermarket nearby, also 7/11s and other small supermarkets as well which is super convenient - as a family of 3 (2adults+1toddler) this place was perfect - very accommodating and polite staff

Yamato may not be the closest to Osaka, but it is still pretty close to Ikoma station from where you can take the Kintetsu line into the city. The area around the ryokan is amazing, but warning - the stairs going up to it are only easy downwards :D Yamato itself is amazing, it has everything for the traditional ryokan experience - tatami, futon, onsen and yukata. The owner is super nice and she even asked her husband to help me with my big luggages, thank you so much! I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area!

Artsy and warm hosts. In retrospect, I would recommend to take the airport shuttle service offered by the host if travel with a group of people. I love local restaurants and supermarkets. This area will not disappoint you. Explore around, people! We got 7am breakfast the next day. Simple, fresh and warm food healed me. The host couple also helped my itinerary. My travel type is more spontaneous. The host gave me some good ideas. Also spared some kawaii goodies for us. The host couple worth more than 5 stars. Hope you both live healthy, happy and long.
