Wall to climb and Hamac in the room... Japanese style room..tatami...super comfortable...we slept great...taking of shoes inside... There is a tree house, and a small train for children on property...and city parks not even 5 minutes walking... in car, accessible to a lot of activities... matsumoto castle, alpine park... land lord speaks English...really clean. Oh you need to press a button to turn on warm water... a bit before taking a bath. Nice staff...helpful...

Only 0.9 mi from JR Shiojiri Train Station, Hotel Route-Inn Shiojiri features simple yet modern accommodations and a free breakfast for all guests. To no one's surprise, a Japanese hotel is super cleanly and orderly. The Route Inn gives you the option of having a light daily cleaning and a full daily cleaning. I opted for the light cleaning, since I'm not a messy person, and I was only staying for 4 days. The breakfast provided was also fantastic. Served in a buffet style, the hotel restaurant provided a variety of both Western style and Japanese style breakfast foods.

Perfect location next to Shiojiri station, staff were very helpful using translation apps during checkin, very good value, good location to see things like Narai Juku and Haraide Ruins, breakfast included

Soaking in a hot bath means a good night sleep. the breakfast provided was excellent. I feel i have been pampered.

Guests at Fukashiso can enjoy relaxing in the spacious public/private baths and request for massage services. We came for our honeymoon & we had the best time at Fukashisho. I wish we had another night there. The hospitality was 10/10. My favorite place from all the hotels & ryokans in Japan.

The decor and atmosphere was amazing. We enjoyed the breakfast and coffee in the common space with a lot greenery. Amazing start to our day!
