It’s a great choice for a stay if you’ve got an early flight. Also didn’t even notice noises from any flights. There’s a restaurant downstairs, however outside there is a row of other restaurants and places to eat if preferred. Staff were friendly and helpful, overall no problems at all and can highly recommend.

During my visit to Kathmandu, I stayed at Hotel Lakhey, whose convenient location made shopping and exploring the city effortless. Hotel was nice and clean. Location is also nice. Management as well as staff is very co-operative and helpful. Price comparitvely economical. Food , breakfast ,lunch and dinner is nice. Price is modarate. Overall Excellent stay.

Patan is very historic with a beautiful square with incredible buildings and temples. Also lots of eateries and places to drink, some wirh fantastic views over the square (we liked Drishya). Frequent festivals, saw an amazing procession on 1st night. Nice shops selling souvenirs and far less hassle than in Thamel. Beautiful pond nearby. Exquisite night and day. Amazing Golden Temple nearby. Closes down early, places to eat mostly shut by 9pm. Foreign tourists are asked to pay to enter square in most of daylight hours even just to walk through, you can use side alleys to avoid this if you just want eg to go to taxi rank. One street is being dug up by the side of the square so yo sometimes taxis have a longer route round. Pathao and InDrive are 2 useful apps for travel.

Value for money ,service oriented , the Bhutanese delicacy was amazing , very traditional and authentic touch. Front office team was amazing and always helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful, spacious and all amenities placed tightly. The location is perfect close to Boudha stupa just walking distance and very peaceful and serene. Security staff very welcoming and professional. Very eager to come back to this property , I would highly recommend this hotel .

Start by visiting Darbar Square. There is a restaurant named Sasatawa at Kirtipur. They serve traditional foods at affordable prices. Pashupatinath Mandir is amazing in the evening. However, air pollution is something to be careful of.

Patan durbar square does get a little busy and noisy in the evenings but it is easy to get around with taxis available to grab at the main square. So many great restaurants, I recommend Cafe de Patan, Cafe Timila and Dhokaima cafe which have cute and quiet garden spaces at the back away from the hustle and bustle. Drishya is great for perfect views over Patan Durbar Square and of the Himalayan mountain range on a clear day, and excellent service!

A huge safe storage under your bed to keep your stuff while roaming around the city. The staff are amazing, nice and very helpful. Food in the two resturants of the hostel is great and you experience the best view ever on the rooftop. I am so happy with my choice and I will always go back to Flock if I get back to KTM.
