The next morning they drove us to the car rental location. Breakfast was one the best I have even had at a hotel. Stuff was so helpful and pleasant.

Albuquerque International Sunport Airport (ABQ) Information
Location and Transport
Albuquerque International Sunport Airport is situated just over 3 miles (5 kilometres) from downtown Albuquerque. The Rail Runner train is the easiest way to reach the city, with transfers taking just 15 minutes. The Route 250 shuttle bus runs on weekdays only, while the Route 50 runs on weekdays and Saturday also. A journey into Downtown takes around 40 minutes.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
A number of hotels can be found within 2 miles (around 3 kilometres) of the airport terminal and all offer a free shuttle service. Inside the airport, you’ll find plenty to keep yourself occupied, with a variety of restaurants, shops and free WiFi on offer.

The town is full of homeless people and drug users in every direction. The tour around town out of Old Town was very interesting. 66 Diner was cool. Use the navigation to get around, roads are confusing.

The Balloon Fiesta was Fantastic!
The Balloon Fiesta was Fantastic! Especially perfect weather. Visiting family was a bonus. Loved Old Town. Jimez outing was educational and visiting Ponderosa Winery on the return was a surprisingly pleasant experience. We traveled to Roswell and got an eye opening experience.
Highly recommend Carlsbad Caverns.

We actually came before balloon fiesta to see New Mexico for a week so we drove all over. Loved it! We only stayed 4 days but loved our time in Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta was sensory overload in a good way. Lots to do. Food, entertainment, culture, outdoor enthusiasts this is the place to be. El pinto restaurant was amazing as was SAVOY. Don’t miss Sandia Tram. A day or 2 in Santa Fe makes it better. Better yet pull up a list of things to do in New Mexico. We did. Chama train ride,Carlsbad Caverns. We did it all!

The hotel was a vintage property that has been renovated. Very well laid out and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was great! Friendly and courteous and there was specialty coffee available. We only stayed one night and did not have time to use the restaurant or workout space, but we enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and we saw some balloons from ABQ Balloon Fiesta from our room balcony!

The parking lot felt hidden and safer than other hotels in ABQ. Being next to that new condominium helped with safety, I felt. The convenience to Cornado Mall and shopping centers next to it was very nice. Front desk staff was friendly.

The location is great at the intersection of the two major highways in ABQ. The loft always offers exceptional accommodations. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some of the reviews posted are unfair in my opinion and it is worth trying out this hotel and make up your own take. The layout of the loft. The comfortable mattresses. The well appointed kitchen. Free breakfast!

Literally everything! The property and grounds were immaculately clean, the room was huge and so comfortable I slept better than I have in probably 30 years, and the breakfast was INCREDIBLE. Literally there was nothing I could think I might have wanted that they didn’t have. I would go back to ABQ for this breakfast alone.

This is a charming old world hotel. Lots of places to sit quietly and enjoy the surroundings. The rooftop Apothecary is a wonderful place for drinks and small plates.

The Imperial was perfect for our late arrival stay of one night in ABQ. The hotel styling was Route 66 retro while maintaining present modern amenities. The room was updated retro chic, clean, offered good outlet placements and the bed was great. We didn't use the pool but the water fill-up & ice station in the gym were nice, as well as the complimentary great coffee in the lobby. Bonus: a block away from the notorius Crossroads Motel filming site from Breaking Bad, if you want an easy photo op.
