Everything was very good....except it would have been nice to have an herbal tea as I don't drink coffee or black tea for health reasons. The rooms are always lovely....clean and comfortable. It's a one-stop for all deal.....don't need to leave the premises to look for a place to eat. My husband enjoyed his complimentary beers.

The atmosphere at the Taos Inn is exceptional. The bed was very comfy, thank you for the extra blankets which we used because it was cold, the bath-shower combo had a grab rail for safety and our room (king suite) was quiet and charming. We enjoyed the morning coffee in the lounge and dined at the inn two nights in a row. The food at both the bar and Doc Martin's is excellent. The location right opposite the plaza was very handy. The decor was very New Mexico and having a kiva in the room was a treat. Taos is an understated little town, there are some great things to do and see here. Plan a couple of nights at least.

The entire room was beautiful. It was very clean without the overbearing odor of dirt and disinfectant. It was quiet. My only complaint was that on my floor, the ice maker didn't work. But, the next floor down did, a quick ride in the elevator and I had all the ice I needed. I will probably always stay at ohkay casino in Espanola every time I spend the night there.

I lived in Albuquerque off and on for many years. It has sunshine almost the entire year. There are a lot of people from all over the country. I love the outdoor areas of most restaurants. The views are beautiful in every part of the city. There is always something to do. The people are friendly.

We went to enjoy the Christmas lights and were not disappointed. There was even a visit to the plaza from Santa Claus! My wife enjoyed the shops, and we both enjoyed the local restaurants. Because it was Christmas, be sure to do things early as things tend to close up so everyone can enjoy the holiday with their families. On Christmas, local restaurants around the plaza are limited so expect a wait once you find one open. We ate at the Plaza Cafe and The French Pastry before Christmas day and at the Burrito Company on Christmas. All had a great selection and great food! We had a great time!

My husband and I had a terrific time in Las Cruces. We came down for a four day trip to look at homes and we found a beautiful one! If you are interested in moving to Las Cruces, I would recommend reaching to Michael Carvlin at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate- Steinborn & Associates. He took us around the town to introduce us to every aspect of the area. He discussed the good and the bad of every location. I felt that we ended up finding a lovely home in a beautiful area in Las Cruces. We're excited about moving there!

This town still looks and feels like it did decades ago.

This town still looks and feels like it did decades ago. This has its good side, but also it's bad side. While many restaurants and hotels have moved to this area, there hasn't been any real progress in the quality of life here. The Southside especially, is run-down and neglected, that you want to avoid it. There no family activities, and the UFO museum is so fake, it's lame. The only decent attraction sits over 44 miles away, at Carlsbad Caverns National Park, but once you've been there done that, there's not much more to do. There are casinos in Ruidoso, 70 miles away, or you can enjoy the local food, expensive burritos, menudo (mostly on weekends), or the other Mexican food at the various restaurants here. So, you'll be bored to death, and you'll probably gain weight. There is basically no reliable public transportation, so you're forced to pay the high prices for a rental car. Some of my favorite spots to eat are: La gran Victioria at 4th avenue and Richardson, Burritos and more, with locations on N. MAIN and also on S. Richardson. Los Novillos, La Salsa (at the mall), and Martin's Capitol Cafe are the other only options I typically use when in town to visit family and friends.

The caverns are a must see! So amazing and large. Plus the Guadalupe Mountain National Park in Texas is just a short drive away, too. The biggest surprise was the Living Desert State Park! It was a wonderful botanic garden and zoo. Even in the heat, it was fantastic! The food was okay - nothing awful, nothing fabulous. The people? They were awesome, so friendly and helpful!

There's so much history and art and culture in Taos it would take a lifetime to see it all! I highly recommend Taos Pueblo, the Millicent Rogers Art Museum, and just walking around the downtown area to start. Orlando's has amazing Mexican food and is a local favorite. If you're coming to/from Taos Pueblo, Tiwa Kitchen has unique Native food like Indian tea. It was delicious!

I like Farmington, because it is a good base to visit sites like the Aztec Ruins, Chaco Canyon, Shiprock and Four Corners. We even drove up to Durango, Colorado. Next time we plan to visit Mesa Verde from Farmington. There are lots of restaurants in town and some nice places to buy souvenirs downtown and at the trading posts.
