Wall and Rt. 35 is an inland hub with motels for visitation to close south NJ beaches including Point Pleasant with its boardwalk with amusements plus a few Manasquan River public beaches. Bay Head farther south links also to Barneget Bay. No need to pay high price "quick beach access motel" prices if you don't mind a drive to these beach opportunities.

the area is under construction and it is far from the beach.
The bedding is terrible and there was a stain on the sheets of one of the beds. We ended up not using it.
it is definitely not worth the price we paid !!
I do not recommend this hotel.

NO PARKING! Day rate beach passes cost too much. So stinking quiet. Old people friendly only. Getting around is terrible. 2way stop signs, bikes everywhere that do not follow traffic rules. And again… NO PARKING! Took 45 min to find a spot. Will not return.

It's a lovely shore retreat town.
It's a lovely shore retreat town. Many restaurants and the village has characteristic tourist options in addition to local merchants with higher-end goods. The location is close to several other shore towns that can be reached by walking, bicycle, or car, depending on your fitness level. Spring Lake Proper is expertly manicured and maintained. It's a pleasure to just sit by the lake in the square under the village clock. Visit the Whishpers for a white tablecloth dinner and Arugula for lunch or dinner. Delicious, and the staff were great!

It was exactly what it said it was very clean everything working. I felt like home very comfortable. This is a beautiful home it has everything you need. It was also convenient for the bakery our favorite . Also the supermarket and liquor store for some .and family restaurants only a couple of blocks from the house The beach was five blocks away very convenient walking distance to it .

Very nice town has lots of places to eat that are of nice quality, even has a Whole Foods grocery store. The town seems to have a higher end income in the residents that surround it. Nice clean area where I drove and easy to get around.

Beautiful beach. Well maintained bathrooms. There are not many options for food on the waterfront - you have to go to Main Street for most choices. Breakfast especially wasn't so easy to find on the boardwalk. Next time I'd bring breakfast food with me.
Free, but limited parking, but beach entry is $10 per person.

Quintessential shore town. Clean beaches, beautiful homes, etc. I’ve been there several times. One thing to note is that you can’t bring coolers, food and stuff like that onto the beach. Better IMO since it keeps the beaches clean but also keeps a lot of extra visitors away. You’d find mostly locals here so it seems less crowded. More enjoyable.
The Grand Victorian is a great place to stay and there is an onsite restaurant that is also lovely.
3rd Avenue has some small shops and places to eat. Overall a nice upscale beach town.
