Location and Transport

Situated in Fort Myers, Southwest Florida International Airport is the third-largest airport in the US. Lee County operates the LeeTran public buses, which offer routes throughout the entire county. Services run between 07:25 and 21:25 on weekdays and between 07:25 and 20:05 on Saturdays. A Sunday bus service is available from 07:06 until 18:56. A taxi will get you to downtown Fort Meyers in just under 30 minutes, and you’ll pay a minimum of USD 45.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

A few hotels are located within 5 miles (8 kilometres) but only a couple of them offer airport shuttle services. The Lee County Port Authority have brightened up the airport’s public spaces by showcasing works by local artists. There’s also a variety of options for shopping and dining.

Terminal Information

The airport has one terminal divided into three areas: Concourse B (Gates B1-B9), Concourse C (Gates C1-C9), and Concourse D (Gates D1-D10). Catching a connecting flight at Southwest Florida International Airport will require travellers to pass through immigration - a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary.

I'm familiar with the Estero/Fort Myers area as my parents...

I'm familiar with the Estero/Fort Myers area as my parents retired there some years ago and my sister and her family live there now. There's plenty to see and do and lots of good places to eat. The traffic can be a bit heavy but the area's easy to get around in and the roads are well kept up.

We were there to watch our grandson play in the

We were there to watch our grandson play in the florida High school baseball championship game (his team won). The facilities at the Twins Spring Training Complex were excellent. We also visited the Edison/Ford Estate complex which we enjoyed and ate at three very nice restaurants - Two were near the hotel. The Fort Myers area is geographically large and you need a GPS device to navigate.

Wyndham website did mention this location was under...

Wyndham website did mention this location was under construction due to hurricane damage but it should have provided more detail. Booking did not mention this at all and that was a big disappointment for us. Now I feel we will need to check other info to be sure Booking.com is inaccurate.

Cape Coral has a lot to offer in regards to sight seeing, food and just hanging out. A lot of good restaurants and beautiful natural areas to visit. Its growing and I think it will get crowded in a few years - so get your trip in soon

Our favorite spot was The Promenade boutique shopping center which had not only cozy shops but deli's and restaurants and live bands in the evening. Not far from Estero is an incredible grocery store called Seed To Table. We always make it a point to go there. It is like nothing I have ever seen before with lots of fresh produce artfully displayed, restaurants and pubs upstairs and a whole host of food items that a regular grocery store would never carry - or probably would not even know about.

Very nice resort.

Very nice resort. Stayed here while doing work on our house in fort Myers that has damage from the hurricane. The staff here was very helpful since we had a small issue with booking through booking.com. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place for other people to stay here. Stayed here almost 2 weeks.

Airport. Good access & signage. Ate at the Waffle House by my hotel on Indian Paint Ln. Big mistake. I ordered a chicken burger which ended up having part of it under cooked. Makes me shiver just thinking about when I bit into it. The waitress was very gracious & I didn't have to pay for the burger. Because I was only staying one night, it really put a bad vibe on the rest of my stay. And killed my appetite. That was the only bad experience I have had in Ft Myers. Won't ever go back to Waffle House anywhere.

Room does not smell clean and fresh. The floor is sticky. The top of the desk is sticky and slimy. The toilet is clogged. Even though we're offered to another room but the cleanliness is not better. The toilet is not clogged though. Thanks God that we stay there for only on day.

Traffic construction was tying up traffic constantly, so expensive, too much new construction, little or nothing to do unless your a foodie or an alcoholic, street layout is a joke, city leaders are trying to make Cape coral into North Naples
