We liked that the rooms all opened onto the pool deck. They were clean and had everything you needed.
Nice quiet place to stay. Friendly Islanders.
Sea shells not as ample as implied on internet.
Beautiful beach. Easy to access.
Do not like the seaweed! Water is pretty, waves were pleasant.
Gramma Dots Restaurant and Sanibel Grill good places to eat.

An island in recovery from hurricane Ian but so welcoming and beauty every where u look weather in the flowers, water, shelling, sea life, bird watching, biking or visiting the shops!! We will definitely be going back every chance we get!! 🩵we actually got groceries and ate at the cottage, more traffic than u can imagine around 3-5 at main intersection but they have that covered with a traffic patrol !

Sanibel is still a great place to vacation.
Sanibel is still a great place to vacation. Although it is heartbreaking to see all the damage from the hurricane, it's still a great option. We've been going to Sanibel for about 8 years and it's our happy place. We can't wait for the island to renew itself.

Loved everything totally!
Loved everything totally! Easy access to beach and really all you needed was right there in front of you if you just look! Outstanding place to stay and get life's issues off your mind! Cannot wait to get back next year!
This resort was one of the few now opened 15 months after Hurricane Ian. There was nothing at all wrong with the facility; it was just not the cottage like facility we had patronized for the previous 27 years. Our “resort” was the Castaways. Hurricane Ian removed that completely from existence. Sanibel island Beach Resort is a hotel with direct access to the beach.
Great location within the island to explore but also not far from the mainland bridge. Hotel has direct access to the beach with sun loungers and parasols available which was a great plus for us. Our condo was clean and spacious, with a balcony and mosquito net so we could enjoy the evening outside with no insects.
Very quiete place. The room is big, and we appreciate the balcony. We appreciate the bikes (but had some difficulties to find 4, at least we only had to go to the beacher next hotel and there we found a lot). Good breakfast. The beach just in front of the hotel is so nice
I like what the hotel did to improve the pool environment and access to the beach. They also offer many additional activities. The room was clean and there was no musty smell in the drawers, a situation I experienced in previous stays.
