The subway station was only about a 3-minute walk away, which was very convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable. I was surprised that there was no water in the fridge, but there was a water dispenser in the hallway that we could use. I had to leave early for the airport, and the receptionist kindly booked a taxi for me. It cost around 11 USD and was very helpful.

Everything. Far exceeded my expectations. View of Quito from our apartment; spacious living quarters with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room & 1 1/2 baths; and, very clean & modern. A deluxe location and ideal place to stay. The day-to-day Managers (i.e., Paul, Joz and Leiver) met us daily to see if things were going well & if we needed anything. Literally everyday; most days twice! QHBH has an arrangement with two local guides: Carlos; and, Xavier. These dudes are awesome! If you can [go to Quito] stay at this residence and book a couple of day tours with these two fine gentleman. You will be writing a 5+ review just like I am now. Guaranteed! Also, Tony from Bogota, Columbia owns & operates an 8'ish seat Pizzeria across the street. Literally 20 feet from the Hotel front door! Best pizza we've ever had. And, Tony is a 'one-of-a-kind' in a great way!

fairly quiet for a big city, great safe location a block or 2 from Carolina park. we enjoyed the jardin botanica in the middle of the park a lot. also loved Prague pub for great food and beer. the close by mall QuiCentro was huge with high end designer stores as well as stores like H&M

Apartment was booked for five persons but dishes, cups, glasses, towels were prepared for about 3 persons. Place is clean. The apartment itself is small and maybe it’s because of the glass but it’s pretty cold especially in the main dormitory. Basic things like dish soap, laundry detergent we had to ask cause they were not initially provided.

Fantastic stay. Apartment was clean and safe, neighborhood was wonderful and Patricia was a wonderful host, dealing with some crazy logistics on our part. My husband and I kept comparing her place to some places we stayed in Tuscany, Italy. Ecuador is a hidden gem! Also if you are traveling with a late arriving flight, have Patricia arrange airport transport, her driver is wonderful.
