Total self-check in. Was a longish walk from station (+15 minutes). Station is only 2 stops from airport, which makes this place ideal for transit stay. Clean, good value. Small room with 2 futons. Bathroom/shower is OK. Great fish restaurant within walking distance. Overall a good choice for one night stay.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a kettle, small frying pan, two plates, and silverware and chopsticks for making a quick dinner. The location is a very short walk from the train station and very convenient for staying before a flight departing from Kansai Airport.

Bunk beds and mattresses very comfortable. Very quiet as it's a detached house in quiet neighborhood. Living and dining area is Japanese style with a bench and floor seating. Reasonable kitchen supplies. Everything clean but a bit bare bones, a good short-time stay.

The owner was super kind and friendly despite my limited Japanese, I was able to try on some kimonos and she helped me take pictures since I was the only one there during my stay. The house is very beautiful traditional japanese house with inner courtyard garden.
