Beach Hotels in Ouidah

Pamphile and Rasheed were very great hosts. Great place to reflect, plan and rest.

This great property is far out and therefore very quiet, night time the road is closed so only hotel guests can pass thru. You wake up with the sound of the ocean and nothing else. I recommend booking an Oceanview bungalow. Breakfast is great with omelette and crepes station plus other extras that change daily. The selection is much bigger than the country standard. The restaurant menu is very big and offers everything from African dishes to Italian, Western and Eastern cuisine. You cannot get a bigger selection anywhere else. The staff is super friendly, happy, attentive and tries everything to accommodate special wishes. The hotel has 3 pools with various depths for swimmers, non swimmers and children. A lagoon is also included that welcomes anyone to take a kayak, Canoe or paddleboard, free of charge to paddle on the lagoon, it is very safe since there are no waves and the water is very shallow often less than 1.50m depth. The Wellness center is located in the center of the lagoon and looks really nice, I did not go there but the offer looked great. A nice minigolf course is also available. Overall the hotel and the area around is very quiet, only a few locals live next to the properties, you can take a walk on the beach and watch the beautiful sunset or just hang out by the bar and enjoy a few cocktails. Since the area is very remote you can only get there by car or mototaxi, parking is enough available if you come with your own vehicle. The hotel has enough drivers that can be hired for sightseeing or anywhere else you want to go.

Justin was a fantastic host and guide! Also near the beach which was lovely. Airco was a big plus!
