We stayed at Villa Sidu for three weeks and we cannot say enough good things about the owners, location and wonderful meals. Himali and Jana are exceptional hosts who were warm and attentive. Himali would provide a wake up pot of tea at 7:00 a.m. each morning followed by a delicious breakfast of fruit plates, ‘egg roti’ and fried eggs. More tea would arrive at 3:00 p.m. and a dinner of our choice at six: curried prawns and rice or red snapper and French fries or Sri Lankan biryani. Jana was always standing by to take us into nearby Bentota for supplies or banking in his trusty tuk tuk. The location is excellent with the beach just outside the back door. Induruwa is a lot less populated and quieter than the upscale beach at Bentota. The accommodation is quite simple but comfortable. With the rates as reasonable as they are you will need to supply your own shampoo and soap. Towels (two sets) and sheets are changed regularly and the room cleaned two or three times a week. The two rooms at the back of the house, facing the beach, are a little more expensive but well worth the extra cost for their spaciousness, AC and running hot water. As inveterate travellers, we recommend Villa Sidu most highly.

Room was clean and super. Breakfast was delicious. You can choose English, Indian or srilankan foods for breakfast.  Host is wonderful and friendly. Hope to come back again.

The location was amazing and best part is the friendly staff. The airline had lost my luggage and the villa staff helped me with everything I needed, be it with buying the clothes or calling the airline people they were there for me the whole time . Specially the manager Mr.Lalit went above and above and beyond to make sure our experience was really memorable.
