Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms are contemporary and clean with very comfortable beds and the view of the beach is perfect where you can watch surfers ride waves. Top breakfast buffet and dinner options were excellent. Place had a great ambience. Highly recommended, thanks for looking after us.

Loved my stay here, location was perfect, centrally located to weligama, mirissa and ahangama but off the main road so no noise and walking distance to jungle beach. The hotel is brand new, super clean, modern and beautifully designed. Stayed in the sea view suite and absolutely loved. The views from the rooftop were amazing to start your day watching the sunrise, having breakfast or just relaxing with a book. Enrico the owner was amazing, super sweet, helpful and generous. Great communication always with guests and giving so many recommendations all over the weligama area for dinner, drinks, sunset etc. really made it an amazing stay. His breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the morning. Super accommodating even letting me store bags and hang out before my later departure. Highly recommend, highlight of my trip!

Enourmes room. Extremely big. Super comfortable beds. Best shower we had in sri lanka. Great pool with jaquzi bulitin. This is a family hotel. Mrs&Mr Diaz are the best hostess you can find. Really great time.

The room was absolutely beautiful, and the bathroom was large and clean. The guesthouse is just around the corner from the beach, so it is easy to go for a quick swim. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a fresh king coconut. All the amenities (A/C, wifi, shower) worked great. The owner was very kind, he even arranged to drive us to Udawalawe.

Great location as it was close to everything you need on a surfing trip. Beaches, transportation, food etc. Staff & owner was super friendly, very accomodating and trustworthy.

Weligama Watergate gives you a homestay feel which we very much enjoyed. Just a short walk from the beach, and you have access to a few shops and restaurants by foot. It is family run, primarily by Vasu and his mom. They give 100 percent in terms of service. Vasu is one man show. He manages the bookings but also the airport pickup and drop offs. We also were able to book him to drive us to our next location which was nice as we became very acquainted during our short stay in Weligama. He is a Weligama local so he is very knowledgable of the area and other tourist destinations in Sri Lanka as well which was very helpful for us during our trip.
