I received an upgrade, that was very nice of them. The room huge, vert clean and hot water in the shower. The bed was very comfortable. I had baked salmon for dinner, one one the best meals I’ve had on the trip…it was perfect..

Staff very helpful , welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Great location. Lovely Hamlet. Breakfast excellent. We also had a vegetarian Sunday roast which was very good. Excellent value and service. Family and dog friendly.

The location was absolutely stunning—we loved the proximity to the Pennine Way. Our rooms were clean, newly remodeled, just lovely. The pub and restaurant were atmospheric and cosy with delicious food.

Beautiful appearance, very comfortable room (1 adult, 3 children), beds were very comfy. The family made us feel really welcome. Breakfast (full English & veggie option) was delicious. Tea leaves for the tea pot!
