The location and scenery were beautiful. I was able to walk to restaurants. There was a lovely fish pond and beautiful gardens on the property. I only wish I would have been able to stay longer.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful, felt like nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good - freshly cooked, and plenty of it. Room was clean and comfortable with fabulous views of the Medway. Walk into the city was about 20 minutes and mostly flat, but we could have parked closer for free. Multi-storey car park is 5 minutes from historic centre and only £3.50 for 5 hours.

Property had free parking for guests. Rooms were clean and tidy with clean towels and toiletries. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We stayed as we were attending a wedding at Cooling Castle. The hotel put on a free shuttle service to drop off and pick up at wedding venue. This was a great service! Driver friendly. Also included free breakfast. Great value for money. Thank you!

The location was superb-just 200 meters from the entrance to the castle, across the street from a big lightly used park on the banks of the river. Rochester is delightful. Small but very picturesque. It is adjacent to bigger cities and an easy hour by train from Canterbury. The property is a small 2 bedroom place to stay. It was clean and acceptable.

The location was great; near the Gillingham High Street and shops. Close to the Great Lines park, Medway Park the University. Easy to get to Chatham walking or by bus. While the room was small, the bed was comfortable. The place including the bathroom was clean and the kitchen nice.
