Super-friendly owners George and Grace gave us a warm, personal welcome. Attractive old stone building with modern, comfortable rooms inside. Excellent breakfast (not included in price) and meals available. Pub attached to hotel has a great country vibe (and good selection of ales). Located a bit outside Stroud but easily accessible by car (good parking) or taxi. Close to the Cotswolds Way. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a lovely warm welcome from the owner Denise, we stayed upstairs in the annexe at the rear of the main house. Our room was very comfortable and a nice size. The home cooked breakfast was delicious, a must stay.

Everything!! Great location. We stayed in The Stable which is a really nice studio apartment with 2 en-suite bathrooms and all the mod cons. Although pub and accommodations are on a very narrow country lane there is ample parking at the top of the lane. The view is amazing, you’ll feel like you’re on top of the world. Really nice pub with excellent food. We were lucky enough to be there for the last Saturday of the month and they have a freshly home baked pop up bakery. If you take a hike out of the top of the car park and keep walking up you’ll be looking at some stunning scenery for the top of the hill.

Very conveniently located. A quiet street only a short walk from the train station and the city centre. Spotlessly clean room with a beautiful view over the trees and hills around Stroud. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room such as bathrobe, well-equipped tea tray and magazines. A delicious breakfast served in the host's very quiet kitchen, with granola, bread, jams all of which are home-made.
