The staff, and the locals in the pub for that matter, were delightful and friendly. We were worried about Saturday night rooms attached to a pub, but the recent remodel must have included excellent sound proofing. We never heard the pub at all. There were 4 very happy people right outside our open window at 2am, when I politely asked them to move down the street, they did so with good cheer😎. The included breakfast was quite good, and the pizza we had in the pub was pretty good too. Good place to stay.

Hartley House is a beautiful B&B set in a quiet location whilst still being very convenient for the lively town of Carrick-on-Shannon. The house is a real home from home with exceptionally comfortable and luxurious rooms. Kate is a perfect host - warm and friendly, offering refreshments on arrival and providing a fantastic breakfast. We really enjoyed chatting to Kate and sharing many stories. Wonderful location. Staff were excellent and extremely accommodating and the pool was very nice and warm,we enjoyed the pool twice during our stay.The breakfast was top. The interior is slightly nostalgic and cosy.It is a true Gem. They have their own Jam! Will come back in the near future.

The Leitrim Inn Blueway Lodge was moser, clean and comfortable. The food was excellent including a hearty breakfast.

The picturesque town of Carrick-on-Shannon is home to the Aisleigh Guest House. The River Shannon is just a 10-minute walk and bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and TVs.
